JCYS Camp Henry Horner is operated by the Jewish Council for Youth Services (JCYS), which is an independent, nonprofit agency. The camp organizes day and overnight recreational and educational programs. It serves children, youth groups, religious organizations, families, schools and businesses. JCYS Camp Henry Horner offers special needs camping and outdoor educational services. The camp occupies more than 100 acres of space. It operates a conference center that can accommodate over 300 people. Its activities include sailing, boating, canoeing, fishing, peddle boating and swimming. JCYS Camp Henry Horner s fine arts sessions focus on making jewelry and creating ceramics. The camp maintains a game room and fully equipped, air-conditioned kitchens.
