I go here when as a novice I don't know how to do something around the house. Their knowledgeable floor staff explain what I need to do and what tools would help. I needed several screen doors rescreened so they demonstrated to me how to remove the screen doors first, then explained their rescreening service. I drove back home, did what they said and got the doors off and brought them in. They rescreened beautifully and I took them home to reinstall. No matter what I ask them or take in to show them what has broken, the knowledgeable older ones walk me to the right place, pick out the right size screws, nuts, washers, and other things I don't know names for, demonstrate how to put it all together, and send me on my way without wasteful purchase. It is like asking a very helpful handyman father. Not condescending or eye-rolling. Love them.

I walked in one night, nobody in sight, the one cashier did not even acknowledge me because she was on her phone. When i FINALLY found someone, i asked my question and they said, "oh, uh i don't know, check 17," and returned to the back and was never seen again. After looking for my stuff for about 10 minutes on my own i finally found it and went to check out. It took about a minute for the cashier to get off her phone to help me, with no "how are you" or "good evening" and not even a "thank you" at the end. I just got off the phone with these guys and they have to be the most arrogant, not helpful, rude retailers I've ever encountered. Mr. Mike's Ace down the street from them is worth the extra 10 minute drive. I'm a 2 minute walk from White's.
