Shuttle America is an independently-owned airline doing business as part of the United Express system. Established in 1998, Shuttle America is one of the fastest growing regional airlines in the United States. Shuttle America is owned by investment funds organized and managed by Wexford Management, a Greenwich, Conn., diversified investment company. The airline operates a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft as United Express. Headquartered in Fort Wayne, Ind., the airline employs more than 350 aviation professionals. It offers more than 60 daily departures to 12 cities in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
