FACE was the third vet we took our dog Butch to in six months.

The first two vets said that he was fine, but it was obvious that he wasn't.

The people at FACE saw that Butch was really sick and spent the entire day running tests to try to figure out how to save his life. Honestly, they really cared, and this was obvious. Over the course of that day Kara, the vet tech, and the brunette female vet (I'm embarrased that I've forgotten her name, because she was absolutely the most amazing vet EVER!!) became friends.

We left with medicine and an understanding of what was going on with our sick dog.

Butch died two weeks later.

He was just an old dog.

He had 15 amazing years.

FACE did everything they could to save him and make his last days as comfortable as possible.

For this we are eternally grateful.

Such beautiful and amazing people.

I have been taking my dogs to this once great clinic since it opened and never have I dealt with what I did today. The woman checking us out was a volunteer, I understand, but she has NO business dealing with the computer, the cash register and the paperwork all at once. I took a friend to the clinic today and we waited an hour or more after the dog got its shots to be checked out. I watched this woman wandering around behind the counter as if in a fog, and watched her throw her hands up in the air in confusion as she tried to enter the paperwork onto the computer. It should NOT have taken her over an hour to check out 6 clients who had been waiting and waiting to pay their bill and leave. SIX people in an hour-unacceptable, whether as a volunteer or a paid employee. NEVER have they had such an unqualified person doing that particular job in all of the years I've been going there.
Beware-if a blond 20-something woman is the one checking people out, be prepared to wait longer than you did to have your dog seen and given routine care like vaccines. I have never made ONE complaint re the FACE Clinic and have always been more than satisfied, but one incompetent volunteer turned this visit into a nitemare! Unacceptable!!

Unfortunately, there is no option to give a "no star" rating. We adopted our dog from Indy Animal Control and we patronized the Face Clinic upon their recommendation. I took our Pit/Mastiff mix in to update his vaccines today and it was a complete zoo, complimented by poor man gem entry and rude staff. We were in the clinic for over 2 hours (expected a long wait) and my dog was anxious, just like many of the other dogs. He was not aggressive with any of the dogs in the clinic, yet two other dogs at different times barked aggressively at my dog which turned into barking matches in which myself, and the other dog owners had to calm our dogs. Ironically, both of those instances occurred with Boxers, BUT the staff member felt it was necessary to approach me and direct me to confine my dog to a room she freed up. I agreed briefly, but brought my dog back out to wait to pay for services because my dog was not the aggressor in either incident...the Boxers were, yet they remained in the waiting area and we're still "bullying" other dogs. One of the staff members informed me in a rude tone that she owned a pit bull too and her dog would be confined in the clinic as well. At that point I realized it's simply because he's a pit bull. Of all the chaos going on in that clinic-another male dog trying to hump my dog, a Presicanarian that barked viciously at everything that moved-the staff chose to single out MY pit bull mix that had been friendly with every dog in the clinic besides the two Boxers that charged him. We will never return to this clinic...low cost should never be reflected in the way staff treats patrons. I'd rather pay a little more and have my dog and myself treated with respect, just as we are every place else we go.

Every person working there was great. However I asked when dropping off my long haired dog how much hair Would be shaved. They replied judt a little on her tummy. They shaved clear up her sides! I looks awful, Yes I know it will grow back, really no big deal. Just not necessary. While I was waiting I abserved many dogs being checked out. None were shaved to excess off their undersides. I appreciate face,but a little respect for a mix breed obviously well cared for clean dog would of been nice.

Went to FACE Clinic to get my cat spayed. You do have to wait, but the staff know what they're doing and they are really nice. I'm so glad FACE is here.....to help people get their cats and dogs fixed. If more people supported this clinic, we would not be killing so many cats and dogs in this city!

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FACE THEY OUTSTANDING STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND CURTIOUS,SURE YOU HAVE A WAITING TIME BUT YOU HAVE THAT ANY WHERE U GO.THEY ARE DOING A WONDERFUL THING FOR YOUR ANIMALS NOT ONLY ARE THEY GIVING YOU A VERY INEXSPENSIVE SERVICE BUT THEY ARE A NO KILL FACILITY THEY HAVE WONDERFUL DOGS AND CATS FOR ADOPTION.

I have taken many pets to Face and have always had the highest quality of service. Both vaccine clinic and surgery times are always very busy, but Face does a very high volume surgery and vaccine clinic for both a low cost and with the highest level of skill and service. When you go to Face you should always expect a wait, but your pet will always be treated with care and love. I have never worried about leaving my pet there knowing that it will be treated with theutmost care and concern. I have known Face to go above and beyond the call of "duty" for clients and patients. I will continue to give Face my business based on their experience and level of concern for pets.

I have been to face several times and have had exceptional service along with minimal wait time. As you would expect face does a high volume of both surgeries and vaccines with the highest level of professionalism. I have always expected a little wait time due to high volume. The staff at Face have always been both speedy and courteous on several occasions with knowledge on several topics of concern. I will always be back with every animal I adopt for surgery and vaccines.

I LIKE THAT I CAN TAKE MY PET TO PEOPLE THAT NOT ONLY CARE ABOUT THEM, BUT ALSO GIVE ME A BREAK WITH THE COST. BOTH ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO ME, AND I THING THAT MOST PLACES TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HOW MUCH WE LOVE OUR PETS, THAT THEY GET AWAY WITH CHARGING OUT RAGES PRICES. AND THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO USE TO WORK FOR ONE OF THOSE PLACES....SO, IF ANYONE KNOW HOW THINGS WORK FROM THE INSIDE OUT, IT'S ME. I HAVE SEEN THE COST OF MEDICATION FOR PETS THAT THE HOSPITAL PAYS, AND THEN HOW MUCH THEY TURN AROUND AND CHARGE THE PETS OWNERS, AND BELIEVE ME, IT IS CRAZY. THE MARK UP PRICE IS WAY MORE THAN 100%. AND ALL BECAUES THEY KNOW THAT WE WANT TO TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF OUR PETS, SO THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT LOVE.

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT FACE DOES THIS. I APPRECIATE THEM SO VERY MUCH,. I HOPE THERE AROUND FOREVER!!!!!
