        If I could give this veterinarian clinic 0 stars, I would. This clinic has tried to overcharge me multiple times (which I price-checked with other vets) & offers the WORST customer service. The lack of professionalism and compassion from The Downtown Veterinarian is astonishing. Never have I felt more taken advantage of by a veterinarian than when I took my dog to them. When my dog had a lump on his chest, I had to constantly call to see when the biopsy results would be read (which was an in-house event). I received no follow-up call and the veterinarian waited an entire week to get back to me when I was told I would hear something in 24-48 hours. Better yet, when I called the third time, I was told by the receptionist that the veterinarian I had seen hadn’t been in all week (when I had expected a phone call for days and was never informed of the vet’s abscence!!). I understand things get busy, but a courtesy phone call would have at least been professional and shown a little compassion. 0 out of 10 recommend, and I will never be sending anyone I know to them for vet services.

        We have taken our dogs to Dr. Buchanan for years.He is very compassionate,caring and knowledgeable. He always goes the extra mile for our pets. They actually enjoy going to see him as they know they are going to get lots of hugs and kisses from Dr. B and his entire staff.We couldn't do without him!
