Overall

Worst customer service we have been exposed to in a while. We made a reservation for 8:00 PM on Valentines Day well in advance and were called to confirm our appointment. We drove 45 minutes to eat at the restaurant and upon our arrival waited over 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff. They asked for our reservation name and could not find it on their list. We were asked to provide proof of our reservation which is utterly ridiculous! Even after all of that, they informed us that they would not be seating anymore guests because the kitchen was so far behind. We were offered no compensation or apology for our dropped reservation and were forced to find somewhere else to eat at 8:00 PM on Valentine's Day! When we asked to speak to a manager, we were given a card and told to call the next day. This kind of service in the food industry is unacceptable! I can only imagine what happened to those who had reservations after we did. We will not be going here again and we will never recommend this to anyone!

I know they don't change thier rag water more than once a week

Please take a moment of your time to hear my story. Sumiko Mitchell, owner of Whitewater Grill is about to leave me homeless because I supposedly quit. Well good sir or mam I would not take this effort to acquire your attention if that were the case. Please let me explain. Employees at Wasabi do not revieve a schedule, at best I would have a day or two notice of when I was required at work. Extraordinary price to ask for at $3.45 an hour if you ask me but this downturned economy left me no choice but to endure working dinner shifts there. About a month ago I mentioned to a fellow employee that I would apply at Red Robin for lunch when they were ready to open, it was later apparent that Sumiko had gotten the word because otherwise inexplicabablly I didn't work for two weeks. I have seen Sumiko muscle three employees out the door this way, but as I mentioned I had no other options. Through much persistance and calling of homes, workplaces, and cell phones I muscled my way back on the clock. It wouldn't be long however before her eccentricities affected my life once more when I informed her personally that I would apply at Red Robin. It was one week later when the question "will they have you working on New Years Eve?" turned into "you work on New Years Eve" at whatever time her dillusion said. After two days into the new year with no word from this wreck of a restaurant I called in to find out when I work as I had done countless times before only to be informed of my surprise resignation. If I could've afforded to quit my job believe me I would have done so in the most spectacular way and they'd never have heard from me again, but the point of this is I endured working for this unpleasant woman until my face turned blue with a smile on my face only to encounter immoral and what should be illegal behavior, and the economic demise of my household on a negative two days notice. It should be apparent they won't listen to me, but I implore you to do exactly that and give fairness a voice by simply choosing to offer patronage to a restaurant that gives their employees value. There is now sushi at Broulims that is honestly just as good for almost half the price and doesn't behave like China in an American workplace. Thankyou for doing more than Sumiko, thank you for listening.

Great

I've been here twice, and both times the service was great. The food tastes great-including dessert, and it has a nice, quiet atmosphere.

The food will tantalize your tastbuds, the ambiance is casual or formal. The staff is helpful and the sushi is remarkable, if your not a fan of sushi, they offer many other tantalizing options, steak, fish, vegetarian. Looking for desert, look no further, all of their deserts are delectable!
