Holliday is a transfer facility operates by the Correctional Institutions Division, which is a part of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The facility has a population of more than 2,000 male offenders. It offers substance abuse screening and assessment solutions. Holliday also provides parent training, telemedicine, ambulatory medical, dental and mental health services. The facility offers adult basic education and vocational programs. It provides opportunities to participate in several community tours. In addition, the facility offers career and technology programs in landscape design, construction and maintenance. It undertakes work projects for local organizations, affordable housing authorities, and city and county agencies.
