Â Jana began her nursing career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as an RN with Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplant patients and later as a case manager for Thoracic surgery. After earning her Master degree, she continued her work at Vanderbilt Medical Center in the Department of General Surgery and Center for Surgical Weight Loss. Jana returned to Huntsville and joined Nephrology consultants February 2017. Â She is a member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association and has since become a Certified Nephrology-Nurse Practitioner through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission. Her interests and hobbies include: reading, traveling, gardening, canning fruits & vegetables, and spending time with her family, friends and Bernese Mountain dog!
