Jinny's Bridal Center

I am going to be in a friend's wedding this year and she picked Jinny's Bridal as to where we were getting our dresses. I went into the shop and got my measurements done, they didn't even have a sample dress so I could try it on. When I finally got the dress in about 4 months later for a BRIDESMAID dress!! It was totally to big for me. Obviously they don't know how to measure people correctly. I knew I should have been hesitant when the didn't even have the dress for me to try on in the first place. Then recently I had to go back to have it altered and of course the bride wanted us to go back to the same shop to have them taken in. So I went back and the girl was really nice but the price was outrageous! Just to have it taken in like 3 inches near the bust and an inch on the bottom of the dress it was $100 bucks! Plus I have to go back for another fitting once the dress is complete. I would not recommend this place to get your wedding gowns or bridesmaid gowns. I'm getting married this year also and i'm looking to save my bridesmaid's money not clean them out cold.

Never would I send my worst enemy to this store JINNY is RUDE. For someone that has been in "the business 26 years" (her words) I think the only thing she has learned is how to place her signs "NO RETURN or EXCHANGE Policy" that gives her the ability to offer unreliable measuring and sizing. Oh yes at Jinnys you are responsible for ordering the right size, oh yes they measure you and pretend to know what they are doing, but obviously they dont know how because there is a sign posted for this too. I would order my wedding dress at sears and have better service there. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY THEY SUCK!

Weddings only happen once...so don't make the same mistake I did. If I could do it again, I would have never step foot into Jinny's Bridal. Your order is not secure here. The consultants are rude and they're not experts at what they do. My dress arrived late and it was the WRONG DRESS!!!!!! She tried to offer me another dress off the shelf. Unheard of!!

Take my advice, STAY AWAY BEFORE YOU MAKE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU CAN!!!! It's not worth it. IT's a RISK you don't want to take.

Stay away from this store!!! Yes, they may seem sweet, but beware if anything should ever go wrong. I was initally sucked in by the prices and ordered my dream dress. I sacraficed a 90min drive on the 405 to get there....multiple times!

Here's my story, I ordered my dress long in advance of my wedding date. They called me down several times for various things even when I had informed them of my long commute. It was all necessary and could not be done on the same day. Then, I received a call that my dress had arrived...2 weeks late. I came down and found the dress to be too small. Had anyone bothered to check the size before calling me??? It was a size 0 and I was a 6!!!! After 6 months of waiting, the wrong size was sent. This dress was a custom made dress that required 6 months to produce!! I obviously became worried...but tried to stay calm. The owner took over her irresponsible co-workers duties and began reassuring me that the problem would be resolved either way. I was about 4 weeks away from my wedding date and no word from Jinny's despite multiple phone calls and messages. She never updated me and when she did, I received incorrect information. As I began to look for other options at nearby retailers, I finally received a call that my dress had arrived.

On top of all the trouble and anxiety faced, there was no compensation and no alterations included. Jinny claimed that I knew I was getting a better deal therefore, she refused to compensate me for my troubles in any possible way. This seemed rather irresponsible to me given the circumstances. I would now have to pay extra to have this dress altered given the time frame allowed.

The empolyees at Jinny's Bridal are incompetent and Jinny herself has a fake exterior and was absolutely rude to me!

I have warned all my friends to STAY AWAY!! The price is a gamble....your peace of mind during such an important time in your life is PRICELESS!!! I learned that the hard way. Don't make the same mistake I did.
