Excellent Experience at Loan Star Motors. My brother and I were looking for a newer model vehicle with reasonably low miles, but didn't want to buy new. We found just the one at Loan Star Motors, not only the vehicle was in pristine condition, it was still under the factory warranty. We paid cash for the vehicle and the entire process was painless.



We walked out spending less than what we had budgeted for, and ended up with a vehicle that's much newer than we were targeting.



Dealing with a family owned business like Loan Star Motors is the way to go because at the end of the day, customers really matter to them, so you'll be treated with respect and they'll do whatever it takes to make you feel like family. Unlike big dealerships, customers are just numbers for them.



So far, we've had the vehicle for over a month and never had any issues with it what so ever.

I bought a VW Jetta turbo diesel for a fair market price. Photos looked very nice online. I am in California and of course the car was in Texas. So, they took the deposit by check that I mailed and everything else was done by Fedex. They financed part of the balance through a Prime Lender at 2.99%. I used my own shipper and had my car in about 10 days. Later received the license plates and registration by mail. The car was in great shape, as described, just like in the pictures, and no problems at all. So, if you're patient they will get it done, smoothly and all by Fedex. Not sure what happened to those who wrote negative reviews, but you have to be an informed consumer when you're buying a used car, especially sight unseen, and can't blame everything on the seller.

What a wonderful experience we had buying our LIFTED diesel truck from Loan Star Motors, from the beginning to the end, the whole process was as smooth as butter, if you're looking for a great deal at a reputable, dealer, give these guys a shot.

I purchased a 2010 Camry LE and just wanted to take some time and write a big thanks to Josh at loan Star motors. I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime and it's safe to say that I do not enjoy purchasing cars, but this time was different. Josh was very detailed with me over the phone and took the time to answer all of my questions. When I arrived at the dealership, I was very surprised at how clean the car was, it looked as if they had washed the vehicle right before I arrived. The whole team was very nice and extremely polite. I purchased an awesome duramax diesel pickup from Loan Star Motors a couple of days ago and was really impressed with the quality and professionalism from the employees. I was first greeted by Callahan who was so delightful, and helpful. Pair him up with salesman Josh and it was an A+ experience. Josh went the extra mile to make sure I got the deal that I wanted. He did everything in his power and in the end I walked away with a great deal and best of all a like new condition lifted truck. Worst experience in my life! I just want to let you guys know, DO NOT BOTHER COMING TO THIS PLACE. They are here to waste your guys' time. Their prices are DOUBLE or even TRIPLE the book value of the vehicle. I wanted to test drive a truck here for the hell of it, and the car I was interested in didn't even make it 1/2 mile after I drove off the lot! The truck broke down, and started OVERHEATING! I tried calling them to come help me, but nobody came until 1 hour of waiting inside the vehicle in the middle of the street! Worst dealership I have ever been to in my life. All their reviews, as you can see, are all fake. They all are similar; how sad! Moving on to a better dealership.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I drove 3 hours to their dealership because they said a vehicle there was in "amazing" condition. I finally took a day off work, and came down to look at it. The truck I was interested in purchasing was falling apart! Engine knocking, panels falling, radio doesn't even work, air conditioning was not even working! I asked them on the phone what the price of the vehicle is, they told me it was $5,000 more than it was on the website! They were trying to fool me! STUPIDLY OVERPRICED CARS AND TRUCKS. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!

Wow... That somes it up in one word. The service was excellent they got me in the vehicle I wanted. My visit was short and sweet. Josh was very easy to work with and the deal was awesome left the lot very satified had to come back in a few days later only to find out that the deal they gave me on the day I purchased the vehicle got even better after they took the time to find better options I couldn't believe the deal they gave me! I had been searching for this car with low miles. I couldn't find it anywhere. I am so picky that I thought I would never find one I liked. The staff at Loan Star Motors had me convinced that this car was worth driving from Dallas to see. They were right. All of their inventory was top notch and they had all of the maintenance done to the car so that it would be ready when I arrived from the long drive. I can't say enough about these guys. They made a tiresome process totally painless.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE, What I dread most about purchasing a car are the salesmen. They are usually very aggressive, pushy and tell tall tales to persuade me to purchase the car that my heart was not set in. Things changed for me at Loan Star Motors because my first purchase there was by far the best experience I've ever had (with a salesman and purchasing a car). Both John Bennett and Josh DeMasters let me work at my own pace without any pressure of time or commitment. The first car I picked, Josh gave me a quick overview of what I needed to know about the car. He then gave me the keys and walked away so that I can check out the car at my own pace. When I asked if I can check out a different car, he never showed me the impression that he was irritated or bothered with me changing my mind. It was extremely hot at 106 degrees, yet he simply gave me the keys, gave me quick overview of the features and left me with the car. I was glad I had the chance to check out the options so that I can make the purchase that my mind was set on. I told him what I wanted and that was when they both worked with me on price. At the end, Josh handed me the keys and gave me a thorough overview of all the features of the car. I was at awe with his knowledge and patience. Both of these guys were great to work with. They teamed up and gave me the best deal that I can ask for. They were honest, thorough, and very far from being pushy. I walked away without any buyer's remorse. I was so pleased with my experienced that I came back 3 days later to purchase a truck for my husband. That deal was even better. Now we are both happy with our purchases.
