I was so happy with the diamond engagement rings we bought at their sister business (Jensen Jewelers - next door) that I came here and found out the value of some old broken gold jewelry I had. I was very pleased with what I got and recommended that my grandmother come here as she had a bunch of gold, diamonds and silver items to sell. She was very pleased. She checked 2 other places before coming here and got the best values by far here. This place is the real deal, and Grandma really enjoyed working with Doug the buyer. He treated her so kindly and with such gentleness that my Grandma wouldn't go anywhere else. You just can't get this kind of sincere and honest attention anymore. Highest price for gold and diamonds! I checked so many places before I came here. I wish I just came here first. Doug, the buyer here, is so friendly and knowledgable, he took more time with me than anywhere else and really explained everything to me. I am so happy with this place! I checked at so many different gold buyers that all claim to “pay the most for your gold” and got the best offer for selling my gold and diamonds here. The amount I got from my engagement ring from a previous marriage really surprised me! They offered a lot more for my ¾ carat diamond by far! Then, I told them I was looking to buy a new wedding ring as I was going to get remarried soon. Here’s where I really couldn’t believe it - they did me a huge favor! Even though they had the best cash offer of anywhere I went, they encouraged me not to take cash, that I would get even more if I traded it in next door at Jensen Jewelers toward my new ring. They are owned by the same people. We got even more by trading it toward our purchase. So I got 35% off my new engagement ring, 50% off my new diamond and a huge trade-in to apply toward it. I ended up walking out of there with a gorgeous new ring and hardly laid out any money! Doug, the buyer is so friendly and I really trusted him. He was more knowledgeable and was more gentle and kind than anywhere else I looked. He told me he used to be a buyer in Florida where the big dealers are and knows the guys that write the books on this stuff. He is a really nice guy and I felt more comfortable dealing with him than anyone else. I left there knowing he had my best interest at heart and did not feel like he was a hockster like so many other places. Try this place out, and ask for Doug, I think you will be happy as well.

This place is top notch in my book. I sold them my substantial coin collection because their buyer gave me accurate and honest answers over the phone prior to me going in. Two other places didn't even give me the time of day. Go to Jensen's, you'll be happy and walk away with more money.

Talk about great customer service and prices! It is really perfect! You get complete one on one and they are so friendly. No pressure to sell and just a great experience. I brought my grandmother's diamond in along with other parts of her estate, I did my research before coming in and checked around, and no one else offered me what I deserved to get. Best place to sell gold and diamonds! I went to several other buyers and got offers much lower than at Jensen's. I truly appreciated Doug's low pressure approach to buying my items and I got a higher offer than anywhere else. There were several other places that offered pretty good on my gold but they didn't come anywhere near the price Jensen's offered me on my diamond. I sold my inherited 1ct. diamond and got substantially more from Doug at Jensen Estate Buyers. I would say it like this: Don't sell anything until you check with Jensen's!. I really mean this. I am not one to go on and on like this, but it was really that good!

I had checked at several other places and here’s what I found. One place would not make me an offer. They told me to say what I wanted, and if they could pay that amount, they would. That is really slippery to me! What if my item was worth $1,000.00 and I didn’t know that and I said I would take $100.00!! The other place I checked was rude and not friendly at all. They did not offer very much for my diamonds. At Jensen Estate buyers they were very friendly, took their time with me, and gave me the best offer. They also asked me what I expected to receive for my items, but when I told them that I had no clue, I felt they were very honest with me.

My mother recently passed away and left my sibling and I with all of her things. We had furniture, jewelry, figurines, her wedding china...but most important was her diamond. I brought it to a few other jewelers in the area but got frustrated with the prices they were giving me. I brought it Jensen Estate Buyers and they offered us more than what the ring originally cost, plus they bought the rest of my mothers belongings. They were very helpful and great to deal with. I took my vintage Rolex to 4 other jewelers in Grand Rapids and Grandville. Jensen Estate Buyers paid me $1500.00 more than my highest offer. There integrity is outstanding. Dont take my word for it, get several offers first. They were very concerned about paying the highest price. Thank you Jensen Estate Buyers.

Based on my experiences with this company, I will not go back or recommend it. IMHO, with companies like this, do homework first, get other appraisals or offers, know the current market prices and be very careful. When this store first opened, it was fun to do business with. IMHO, not that way anymore. While he told me he offered me the "highest prices," that has not been my experience. For instance, his coin offers were fair to lower than others. He did offer to match their prices, but did not give that higher offer upfront -- that is why it is important to do homework first. Also, he tried to tell me a collectible item was "common" and "easy to get" -- but I was stunned to learn he then turned around and listed that item as "rare" (which it is) on an ebay site. I could overlook that but he crossed the line when he offered me vastly different prices for the same jewelry on different dates. If that was not insulting enough, when questioned, he claimed it was not the same item -- but it most certainly was! He then told me gold and silver prices were down, when in fact they were up (I check Kitco charts daily). Then, although this company advertises for buying jewelry, he stated it all depends on the "mood" he is in. I think laws say if you advertise it, you do it? In short, rather than apologize for making a mistake or honor his offer, it became bizarre. So, I no longer trust or will do business with this company.
