Overall

I have been using West Houston...

I have been using West Houston for the last 15 years and recommend them to all my friends. They go above and beyond any vet I have used. Even at Christmas the staff dresses up as Santa and Elves and welcome anyone to take picture with Santa! Everyone seems to really enjoy working with animals. Dr Gochenour has always taken his time and will explain anything. I know my pets are in great hands.

Tonometry measures the pressure inside your pet's eyeball (called intraocular pressure) using a tonopen. We use this to for both glaucoma and eye inflammation (uveitis). Increased pressure within the eye itself can be extremely painful for your pet and constitutes a medical emergency to prevent rupturing of the eyeball.
