Her office is essentially built to make money at the expense of the patients' well being. One of her staff members tried to convince me to do an elective operation without telling me that it would not be covered by insurance. I had to ask her and force the information out of her that it was elective. Dr. Tjoa also wanted to perform a costly elective procedure on me that the dentist at my former residence had told me was not an issue. Instead of discussing with me my options, Dr. Tjoa made it sound as if I had no choice, fortunately I knew better.
