The Church Without Walls

I only went to this church once due to an issue I had right after the service was finished. Once all is finished, the pastor invites the new visitors to go outside in a shaded area with church members who are there to give is a warm welcome and to offer us drinks and snacks. I was then approached by a male who began asking me personal questions. One of those questions was if I was married and I said yes. He asked where my husband was and I told him that he is incarcerated. He then said that the church has a program where they go out and visit inmates and preach the word of God which I thought was very fascinating. He then gave me a free bible and said I should give the bible to my husband and that it's important for me to preach the word to my husband even though our relationship may not last. I did not appreciate him saying that at all. Especially since I never asked for his opinion or advise regarding my marriage. I spoke to other members of the church and they were very kind, but I do not feel comfortable going back to that church anymore.
