I had a simple operation and developed an infection. They operated on me 2 more times thinking that would hlep. I took 3 different rounds of antibiotics, but the infection just got worse. I was referred to Dr. Price. It was touch and go for awhile and we were not sure I would make it. I asked him to tell it to me straight - He said that one of two things would happen, either we would kill the infection or the infection would kill me. I was quite scared at that point. A centeral line was put into the back of my heart and I was infused with the medication that he gave me twice a day for months.
