I believe that a healing therapeutic relationship is based on genuineness, acceptance, respect, empathy, and curiosity. I take a holistic and feminist (non-authoritarian) approach to therapy, and take into consideration your work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs, social and sexual identities, and relationships -- your STORY! Our lives are stories we tell ourselves. Sometimes, these stories keep us stuck in shame and resentments! Trying to hold on to these old stories is a waste of energy. By letting them go, we heal ourselves, we nurture our souls, and we live our way into a new story. Does your story need re-telling?
