Houston Garden Centers

I went to the location at I-45 and Rayford/Sawdust on Saturday morning. I waited fifteen minutes for assistance. The Manager and cashier were in the parking lot and checking out a large truck. The Manager was also smoking. It was hilarious because other customers were looking for employees. As an accountant, I would fire the cashier for leaving her cash register unattended. A huge, huge internal control gap. Needless to say, people left and the Hooper family lost a few sales. I think the staff either needs to be retrained or replaced for these issues.

That this place needs to be investigated by INS, and I will never buy anything from this place again. They are not really less expensive than any other place, and they do not guarantee anything. How do they stay in business with such rude and unhelpful people.

I have never really had much problems with loading. But then again I usually do it myself. I do get very irritated with not being able to find anyone that can give you help. I am also offended that they hire all these people that are not legal, can't or won't speak english. When they do have the half price sale I have found that most of the time only half of what I buy lives... so I am not getting a deal. After reading all these other reviews I have decided that I will shop somewhere else from now on.. maybe if more people stuck to there guns about not shopping there they would pay more attention.

Go to lowes or home depot, they will honor you as a customer, when you have a problem, unlike houston garden center and matt hooper

There is not one person there who can speak even the slightest bit of English. When I asked for the simplest things, I had to resort to charades every time. Then I was lead to something not even close! Can't they hire ONE person to help the English speaking customer.
