HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Our dog had surgery 12/2/21. When he was dropped off they had us sign a paper with no explanation. When we picked up our beloved dog after 9 hrs. the price was 3x higher than we thought. When Dr Ivan came in to talk to us all she could say was you signed the paper. My husband said "What a scam". She flipped out. She told us while yelling to take our dog and get out and don't come back. Then he stuck his tongue out at her and she told her staff to dial 911 and call POLICE. They did not give any instructions on how to take care of incision. Our dog was shaking and could not walk. This is how we were treated after going there for over 15 years. I would not recommend them at all. They didn't care about the dog just their money. They would not give us a copy of the paper they made us sign or a receipt with a description of services performed. I have never seen a professional person act like a child. She kept yelling pay your bill in full and get out. We told her it was pd. That was the first thing we did when we arrived was pay the bill, even though we were treated like dirt.

Dr. Ivan was amazing! She treated me like an old friend and made me feel super comfortable right away! I brought a hedgehog in and she seemed right at home with her. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks for helping me feel welcomed!

I've taken my pets here for 10 years and was happy. However, they do not seem to know much about cats. My cat was drooling excessively and they did a blood test, gave her fluids for slight dehydration and an antibiotic and said it was probably gingivitis. A week later I took her for a second opinion at a different vet and they found a huge tumor under her tongue - cancer! I was devastated.

i was looking for a new veterinary clinic and happened upon this. close to home and the staff are super. i couldn't be happier!

House Springs Animal Clinic is the ONLY place I entrust my animals to. When it comes to your extended animal family, the vets and techs are amazing. These people at H.S.A.C become like your family too. I just cannot do justice in my praise of these people. When unfortunately my Bingo (Australian Shepherd), passed away, they were so compassionate and kind. The medical care my animals have received from H.S.A.C Is beyond anywhere else I have ever taken pets too. They are a blessing to all animals who are lucky to go there.

I recently went to Ivan Animal Hospital because I had a very sick dog and heard great things from a friend of mine. I was a bit upset because I was so worried about my dog and probably waited longer than I should have. I instantly felt better when I arrived and everyone was so nice, especially Dr. Desnoyers she was amazing, she sat down and took the time to really talk to me and listened to me babble and I didn't feel like just another crazy dog owner that she was stuck listening to. She made me feel so much better about my dog and made me very optimistic that he would be just fine, and he was! I couldn't be more pleased with the way she treated me and my baby, I would recommend her to anyone! I will definitely be coming back and making her my new forever vet!

I have been taking my pets to Ivan Animal Hospital since 2007 when she opened the hospital. She sees all of my pets including my reptiles and has never steered me in the wrong direction for the care of my pets. I have recently been there with my aggressive dog and the new doctor saw her at the time for an eye issue and the new doctor was extremely patient and very concerned for her, turns out she just had some dry eye but it was nice to see someone that was just as concerned about my dogs well being as I was. I really liked the new doctor and would not mind seeing her again. The staff has always been very pleasant even with my difficult and rowdy pets. I also love the how the staff is always on top of my concerns always willing to help me with whatever questions I might have weather they are silly or not.

I love the doctor and have been going to this clinic for years but the staff is ignorant and arrogant. The staff talk behind all of the customers' backs and don't know how to handle any clients or their pets when people aren't watching them closely. I have switched places only because of the staff.



Dr. Ivan is wonderful but needs other employees like her working there.

We've been taking our pets there for years and just recently discovered my dog was really sick almost to the point of death. They were really good with her and diagnosed her really quickly. She's on medicine and doing much better.The staff is very sweet to the animals and very personable. Thanks so much for taking care of my little family!

I have taken my pets to House Springs Animal Clinic for many years. Drs. Warmbrodt and Gundlach are great vets and very caring. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The technicians are the best.

I love Ivan Animal Hospital, I have been going to Dr. Ivan for four years and the staff has always been friendly, give or take a person or two. But from what I've heard and seen recently, they have hired some new faces and gotten rid of some old ones. They have many new, caring employees that really make you feel that your pet is going to be taken care of. I will continue to take my pets to Ivan's Animal Hospital because Dr Ivan and Dr Sullivan are honest, knowledgeable doctors who care about pets and their owners.

This place used to be really good as the reviews that are from 2007 & 2008 show. But the service is really lacking now. The front office ladies are down right rude. I was waiting for an appointment a few months back & while they were over the top sweet to a customer checking out as soon as that woman left they were complaining about her. And there I was, a customer within ear shot wondering what are they going to say about me when I leave?



Dr. Ivan is a fine vet but the two surly ladies at the front desk are a big negative.

I just had my maltese & toy poodles annual visit's done. It is wonderful to see the genuine care and concern shown to all types of animals by the entire staff. I schduled both for dental cleaning and that went perfectly as well. You have a large waiting area and you are greated by friendly staff. You can observe both reptiles and furry creaters that call the clinic home. I recommend Dr. Ivan to all my friends.

We started with Dr. Ivan many years ago in Webster Grove. Followed her to Imperial and now we are so happy she has her own clinic. She is exceptional in her knowledge and compassion for all types of animals. She has treated all of my dogs, reptiles and other furry creature through the years. We just cant say enough about the way she cares for our pets. We highly recommend her to everyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Ivan at the Imperial location and now my drive is a little longer, but the care that I receive for my dogs make the drive worth every mile.

Dr. Ivan seems to really understand my dogs and knows the BEST care for them. Dr. Ivan and the staff are the BEST.

I followed Dr. Ivan from a practice in Imperial, she is wonderful! Our family has had her care for our hamsters for years. Since we've adopted two rescued dogs, she has been absolutely great with them as well. The knowledge Dr. Ivan uses is matched only by her genuine concern for our pets.
