We've quickly become regulars at this likable, informal restaurant. While they do a good job with steaks and burgers, they are also capable of turning out interesting chicken dishes. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the pork chops on one visit. My favorite dish was the Jamaican Snapper, a surprisingly authentic and tasty version of a standard Jamaican dish seldom seen in these parts. The owners have recently added specials like all-you-can eat fish frys on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and$5 burgers for lunch on Wednesdays. They recently received their beer and wine license. Service is friendly and efficient. I look forward to eating a lot of meals here.

My wife ordered her skirt steak well done. It came burnt on the outside and pink/red inside. By the time she was able to tell the server (who was very busy - she was the only server on a Friday night), Our children and I had nearly completed our meals. The offer of a re-cook would have given my wife her steak well after the rest of us had finished. She said, "No thanks. I'm done." To my surprise, the $12 steak remained on the check.



We love the Cafe down the street, but decided to give Crossroads a shot. It appears we'll be sticking with the restaurants in Horse Shoe just a quarter- to half-mile down the road.



About fifteen minutes after writing a review on Yelp, another user posted a review about the exact same cut of meat (this user had one review and had just signed up for Yelp). In a direct message, this user described in detail how difficult the cut of meat is to prepare, that it's difficult for restaurants when people call out, and asked if I talked to the manager. I believe I was contacted by someone associated with Crossroads.
