AcupressureA massaging technique that dates back many centuries, shiatsu massage is also referred to as Zen shiatsu. It is thought that the Japanese developed this form of massage in order to heal physical, emotional, and psychological problems. It is somewhat similar to Chinese acupressure, but rather than needles, it involves the use of the fingers to manipulate the body’s fascia by applying pressure using all aspects of the hands.
Haircut and Styling
HighlightsThis is a three hour class, with two hours devoted to massage training. To enhance the massage training, one hour of some enjoyable highlights of partner yoga, circus yoga, and breathing techniques will be intermixed with the massage training. For the massage training part, you are practicing on your ‘friend.’ It is necessary to show up with a partner. However, each ‘pair’ can choose whether they want to spend an equal amount of time practicing and then receiving, or, one person can receive the whole two hours while the other person practices the whole time. However, the ‘receiver’ still needs to participate in the partner yoga!
Moist Heat Therapy► We have temperpedic face cushions on cradles with 12 separate facial supports so the pressure is removed from your cheek bones. It also adjusts higher or lower to your necks comfort.

Swedish MassageWhere Deep Tissue massage meets Swedish Massage; not too hard, not too strong. The therapist will tailor make the allocation of time as it best suits your needs.
Deep Tissue MassageThis is normally a strong massage, but strong pressure is not the point. The ‘point’ is to find the knots which are causing your muscles to feel tight, and to use any appropriate technique for easing the ‘knot’ back into a calm, stress-free state of being. Deep tissue massage is available at our massage center in Honolulu.
Sports MassageThis shares the pain relief goals of Deep Tissue massage, but the modalities used are more specific to your activities. Pre race? Post race? In between a race, or athletic event? Rather than a relaxing massage in which you can rest your mind, for a Sports Massage you will need to participate with the massage. Resistance exercises can enhance pressure point massage, and ‘muscle shortening’ or therapeutic positioning of your body can promote relaxation. This is a massage, but it includes manipulations and assisted stretching to help you either perform better or recover faster. For sports massage in Honolulu and Waikiki contact us for an appointment.
Hot Stone MassageExtremely effective with thermophore or hot stone therapy. Apply oil before massage to the area, place hot pad or stones on for 5-10 minutes. Come back to area to work deeply.
Couples MassageHow can you have a fantastically fun experience with someone you care about while learning therapeutic relaxation skills?
Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi MassageThe traditional massage of Hawaii. Intention is a foundation for action in Hawaiian Culture. With a Lomi Lomi massage, the therapist first grounds their energy and then focuses on being a conduit for the flow of vital energy, as opposed to having an analytical point of view about how results are achieved. The result is an intuitive deep tissue massage using effective pain relief techniques. This blends faith in the bodies healing process with knowledge of how to facilitate healing. Lomi Lomi massage is available at our Honolulu Massage Center in Waikiki.
