Okay, okay I know I'm probably the only local girl in all of Hawaii who doesn't just drool over Liliha Bakery's cocoa puffs. Although, it's not them it's me, really-- I'm just not a huge cream puff girl in general. But, that aside. You have to try the cocoa puffs-- they really are good. And if you have just a minute or two more you could sit at the old fashioned counter and order true diner style from their menu overflowing with local goodness. I love stopping by here just to soak up the energy of what seems to be one of the last true diner's in Hawaii. Oh the good ole days. Oh and also this is the perfect, and by perfect I mean really, truly perfect in every way, place to break any carb related fasting. Be careful when you enter as you will most likely not be able to leave with out one of their signature boxes brimming with sugary sweetness. And that, truly is the sweetest thing.

  • too sweet

Don't really like the puffs... too sweet.

  • I crave these puffs

My favorite aunt would make a layover in Los Angeles to bring us cocoa puffs on her way to Las Vegas. Now that she's gone, I have to fly to Honolulu myself. Sadly,. that doesn't happen often enough. If you're ever near Honolulu you must try these cream puffs. They are just amazing. AMAZING I SAY!!!!

  • Legendary cocoa puffs and old-fashioned lunch counter!

I live in Portland, Oregon now, but when I go home, I always stop by Liliha Bakery for their cocoa puffs. I love the old-fashioned lunch counter, and the food is excellent. I have had breakfasts and lunches here and everything is always good and tasty. Just good, homestyle local cooking at its best!

  • I really go cuckoo for these Coco Puffs

If there's one thing you try when you come to Oahu, get some of the coco puffs from this bakery. I bought a dozen and my wife and I polished those bad boys off in two days.

The food here is down-home, local food! I enjoyed everything I tried there. They make a great hamburger steak and the pancakes are good . . . and this is from someone who rarely eats pancakes! \r \r Seating is hard to come by especially if you have large groups since they only have a small counter. \r \r Cocoa puffs (chocolate cream puffs) are EXCELLENT!
