        Food was bland not impressed. Floors were filthy in area we were seated. Not a nice smell either

        Herman & Son's Steak House

        No greeting at door, so sat a Bar was never greeted, AGAIN, asked for two beers a two Berger's. Burgers were lousy tasteless boring. My Wife's beer should have been dressed. Never again, Hondo you let me down.

        Always Great!

        My first pepper steak at Hermann Sons was in 1965, my last one was in July of 2010. I've lived in California for 25 years this time, and everytime I come home, a trip to Hermann Sons is always on the agenda. My son-in-law loved the chicken fried steak but for me, it's always the pepper steak. Great food, great atmosphere, great service and I'm never disappointed.

        Good food at a local favorite!

        This restaurant has been one of the local's favorites for decades. Great steaks, a nice salad bar and a real country atmosphere. You gotta try their onion rings!
