La Barraca Tapas

Terrible service, would not send my worst enemy to eat there. There are much better restaurants near by.

I've never been so disappointed as with our decision to eat here, instead of one of the other great restaurants in the area like Lola's, Sage, etc. Just as the other reviewers said, the service was disgustingly rude, that old "maitre d" guy is obviously the owner, who apparently hates Americans and/or all people in America. The food was bad on top of it all, the portion sizes were a joke, and I can not believe the place is still in business. Please let this place go under, let the old geezer go back to Spain (or Guatemala?) and let a real restaurant open up here.

We visited the place recently and were VERY disappointed with the service. It was among the worse we have ever had at a restaurant in South Fl. The owner,

Maître ‘d whatever the old guy was had a horrible disposition. The server had terrible manners, service was horrible and the food was mediocre at absolute best.

I would never visit this place again. Too many other good Spanish restaurants in South Florida This one STINKS!

The food is mediocre at best; the service has a terrible attitude and no concept of “service”.

We have been there on a couple of occasions and this past weekend was the last, our waiter left the restaurant while tending to our table, at no point did he leave anyone in charge of our table, we could not get any of the waitresses to assist us; it seemed they were all too busy pushing their assets up and out of their shirts, when we asked the manager for our waiter he replied he stepped out and walked away from our table.
