This is the most absolute worst place there is for surgery. I was so thirsty out of surgery, that it was obvious that I wasn't hydrated enough. They would not give me anything to drink either. Granted, I realize that they want to make sure that I don't throw up, but after I took a small amount of water (1/2 cup) and kept it down. After 45 minutes they should have let me drink more. I just wanted to get out of there. When the nurse told me that the reason they wouldn't release me was because I didn't urinate, I asked for more water and drank SIX 10 ounce cups of water in about a 10 minute time frame. Of course I couldn't urinate because I had no fluids in me. Coming out of neck surgery, they wouldn't give me any thing for pain. I would suggest anyone scheduled for surgery at this place to do their homework first.
