Happy Acres

My mother and I came to Hinesville for the holidays to visit with family. I read over the reviews online for Happy Acres and was so unsure about staying here bc of the general feedback from people. So now that we have returned from our trip let me give you a thorough review.

We stayed in one of the fully furnished, 2 bdrm units that was closer to the office. I came in on a Sunday evening and the maintenance man and hours family happily met new to let me in. I have never lived in a trailer so I wasn't sure what the space would be like but it was very comfortable! Smelled and looked freshly cleaned. The kitchen was reasonably stocked for what it was. They provide salt and pepper, anything beyond that you have to provide (including a baking dish). It was great that I was able to buy grocery and cook for our entire stay instead of eating out. The beds were crazy comfortable! Linen was clean, fresh, and soft.the seating area was large enough for our little family. I honestly never really saw anyone walking around. Besides the early morning car or two leaving early for work,I never heard much noise either. It was extremely well lit at night and I even took a walk one evening.

When I needed to get change to wash clothes, the staff was very polite. I met the owner one evening and had a very normal and polite conversation. I never felt put off by anyone that I met.



The bathroom is a bit tight and not very workable for an adult worth mobility problems. I made it work with my mom, but it took some creativity. Also, someone is seriously feeding the cats there and at night you could swear they are raccoons coming towards you. Those are the only two drawbacks I can tag. I wasn't sure if they supplied extra garbage bags woke you are there, but I brought my own (along with other cleaning supplies)...yes, I pack seriously.

I think the moral of the story is:bring your own extra supplies, follow the rules, be willing to be polite, maybe even engage them in a regular conversation, and watch out for the cats at night. If you can do that, you weep have zero problem with your stay. For us, it was MUCH better and cheaper than a hotel for that length of time.

Happy Acres is a great place to live because it is peaceful and very quiet anytime of the day or night. I've gotten used to the different colors and now they just blend in naturally in the community. I've lived here for over a year now and the Staff and Owner are still just as nice as the first day I moved here. They are competent, efficient and honest which sets them apart from other places I've lived. I would definitely recommend Happy Acres to anyone whose looking for a clean, safe and fun place to call home. A great place to raise your kids and they are kind and courteous to the military. As a veteran, it was very important that wherever I lived it was military friendly. Today I'm very comfortable calling Happy Acres my home.

I love living here! I get a smile every time I pull in and see the funny exterior colors. My unit is in excellent shape, and I find the staff very friendly & helpful. I also love having the on site fitness center available 24 hrs a day....no more excuses. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for housing in Hinesville.

I love living at Happy acres. I have always found the staff friendly and accommodating. The place is always well kept and quiet. My wife and I walk our dog around at night and chat with the neighbors. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet & safe neighborhood to live in.
