We have been coming to Dr. Bostley"s hospital for many years. When he was in solo practice years ago, he made an emergency house call and carried our very large dog out to his truck to take him to his facility when we were unable to do so. Can't say enough good things about all the vets and staff in this facility!

My beautiful Airedale had diarrhea. She was put on antibiotics for a week. After a week with only minor improvement they wanted to do an ultrasound. Before the ultrasound, the vet did blood work. She came back in & said her platelets were very low. Then she took her back for the ultrasound.
She came back and said my dog had an enlarged spleen & that they aspirated her spleen during the ultrasound (WITHOUT MY CONSENT).
I tried to trust their decision, but I knew aspirating her spleen when she had no platelets was wrong bc platelets are what makes your blood clot. But, never did I expect what would happen to her, next.
The aspiration was on a Thursday.
We had an appt for the following Tuesday. I watched my dog go from a dog w diarrhea & fatigue to a dog who began losing the color in the pinks of her eyes.
Monday morning, I called as soon as they opened & asked them to see her again.
Now they said she could have cancer (even though the labs weren't back yet) so they did an X-ray & found no masses. They repeated the ultrasound & saw no masses. They said the 2nd ultrasound showed no internal bleeding but I could see her body bloating outward & watching with horror as the pink in her eyes was becoming more & more pale.
They gave her a "chemo" drug to increase her platelets & steroids & put her on doxycycline.
By Tuesday, with an enlarged spleen punctured by their procedure & we thought it should be removed. They said they couldn't remove it now bc her platelets were zero. They said she would need a transfusion to do it & we would have to take her to Cornell. But Hilton referred us to Cornell's oncology dept instead of emergency surgery.
After torturing her for 3 days in Cornell with zero life saving attempts made bc we had been sent to oncology, we went & picked her up.
She never got the transfusion she needed.
She never got the splenectomy.
She died the next day in our arms, 9 days after having a hole poked in her spleen with no platelets to make it clot. RIP

I have brought my animals to Hilton Vet Hospital for over ten years. My animals are like family to me. The employees at Hilton Vet have been extremly caring and given my animals the best care. They are reliable for getting quick appointments when my animals have become acutly ill. I am confident in there medical advice and this comes from a registered nurse. I highly recomend Hilton Vet Hospital.

I have been using Hilton Vet Clinic for years for my Newfoundlands. I drive almost an hour to get there and I pass several vet hospitals I've used in the past with less than satisfactory results. Hilton vets have always had reasonable charges and most importantly correct diagnoses. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The vets have helped me with any and all problems and general care with my Newfs. I certainly will continue to make the drive.

This clinic is great! This is my first time being a pet owner and they have made this process very comfortable for me. They are wonderful to both me and my dog. Always a positive atmosphere. You are never rushed through a visit, which I greatly appreciate. Also they dont overcharge! I would definiately recommend Hilton Veterinary Clinic to everyone.
