The Housing Authority of the City of High Point is a nonprofit public housing agency. The agency provides programs in various areas, including housing counseling, a public housing capital fund program, congregate housing supportive services, demolition and revitalization of severely distressed public housing, and resident and supportive services. It administers units funded under the public housing program, housing choice voucher program and new construction program. The agency additionally operates a nonprofit organization titled Low Income Housing Opportunities, which offers housing and homeownership opportunities. The Housing Authority of the City of High Point was founded in 1940 and is located in High Point, N.C.
