Staples Mill Townhomes

Don't rent here. Office staff is nice but dishonest. They omit vital info then hit u with utility bills. Water and gas are charged separately from the rent. But are not charged by the individual apartment. They are charged by the building and is split evenly between the residents. I don't even have washer dryer. Why should I have to pay for others to use theirs. Had my hot water heater explode 32 days into living here. Had to go through an ordeal to get a new one (over 15 years old) and get the carpet replaced (they refused to replace it only "cleaned" it) Walls are paper thin as well as the floors. They sound and feel as if they will collapse any moment. It's an old apartment with some new elements slapped in. Also not really safe. Came out to a guy looking in my car window. When he saw me he ran off. Police are sometimes patrolling the lots. Also found out a girl was killed here a little while ago and car break ins are an issue. Only upside is the area. Ur close to a lot . Its an old apartment with a few upgraded elements slapped in. Not worth the 900 for a 1br im paying (my rent is 813 but after the "utilities" its that high). I could have stayed on the southside for this!!!! Dont do it. Spend your money else where and have piece of mind.
