Binion's Roadhouse

The night before picking up my daughter at summer camp in Hendersonville, I dined at Binion's Roadhouse with a friend. Granted I hadn't seen that friend since the mid-1980's, but still a friend nonetheless.

Binion's was my choice - not his. I had eaten here in years past and am a creature of habit. Besides, the food was always good. Never a complaint.

the 10 ounce Ribeye steak for me, a Trail Boss sirloin for my friend. Plenty of peanuts to go around and we had the shrimp cocktail instead of the offered deluxe side salad. Water was our beverage.

Allie our server was friendly and polite. No problem with the service and the atmosphere was great. Only complaint - my ribeye was overcooked. I ordered it rare - it came out medium. Our server offered another steak, but I opted against that option since I was on a time constraint for dinner. Another obligation - another old friend to meet.

Great service - just a slight flub on meal delivery. Given the time, I would have allowed them to prepare a new steak.

Restrooms were clean and they had plenty of parking. I will visit Binion's Roadhouse again when visiting Hendersonville, North Carolina.

It was our first visit. Everything was wonderful, the steaks the best we've ever eaten. The prices were much better than we imagined. This is a place you will like because our whole family thought it was the best food and service ever!

I got a to-go order and didn't think to check my order until I got home. Both items of my order were wrong, everything looked unappetizing and both burgers were thoroughly soggy, after waiting half an hour and paying 30 dollars. Never again.

Very nice except for the mess of peanut shells on the floor. Food is good prices are good. Enjoyable place to go.

This restaurant is high volume with good prices. Most of the other restaurants in Hville are slow and are like eating in a morgue. This town has a poor reputation for good food so many go to the restaurants in Biltmore Park.All of the restaurants there are better than any of the restairants in downtown Hendersonville,

Since this restaurant does so much business and generally sells for less, other restaurants encourage their customers and friends to write negative comments and downgrade it. DO NOT BELIEVE THE BS! Before you eat anywhere in this town, check out the traffic at each.See who is busy. If you decide you don't like steaks or Binions, go to Biltmore and eat! They offer better selections.

My fiance and I were in the mood for a steak while we were in town and I remembered having good, affordable steaks at Binion's. This was not the night for that though. To sum it up quickly, our steaks were cold (and my fiance's had undoubtedly be cooked long before he ordered it), our potatoes had been recooked many times, and the manager was extremely rude. We ordered an appetizer of wings, which were good. However, we also ordered two 10 oz ribeye steaks with salads for our entrees. We were a bit confused when our entrees arrived before our salads. We told the woman who brought our entrees out (who was not our server and was apparently the manager) and she left our steaks with us and said she'd be back with the salads. My fiance's Caesar salad had no dressing on it when it came out and when my fiance pointed that out, the manager offered to bring him a side of dressing instead of apologizing and taking the salad back to toss it with dressing. We took a few bites of our salads, which weren't that great and tried our steaks and potatoes. My steak was only lukewarm, but my fiance's was cold. When we told the server what the problem was, she apologized and offered to get the manager. We told her it was fine, we just wanted the check. she got the manager anyway who offered to make us a fresh salad and steak. When we said, no we just wanted the check, she said they wouldn't charge us for our steaks. We thought that was very generous until she took away our food as she was speaking. We had honestly just been planning on taking it home and reheating it. As she left, she very loudly said, "Does anyone want some perfectly good steak." If you're going to insult your customers, at least wait until they actually can't hear you. We probably would have ordered another beer and had some peanuts before going home, but we were pretty upset. We have both worked at restaurants and know that sometimes the kitchen screws up and sometimes things happen that are out of the staff's control, but there's a better way to handle situations like that than taking away the bulk of someone's meal and trash-talking them as you do it. We will definitely not be coming back, not because of the food, but because of that manager. It's worth noting that the server was obviously just fairly new and was quite nice.
