Vaccination
Our dogs can be protected from Lyme Disease by an annual vaccination. Since ticks are prevalent in our area, we recommend all dogs that spend time outdoors be vaccinated against Lyme Disease.
Nutritional Counseling
A healthy diet is as important for dogs as it is for us. Nutritionally balanced diets help dogs stay healthy and can help manage or reverse some conditions. We stock Royal Canin, Purina, and Hills Prescription Diets because of their continuous research, quality ingredients, and commitment to developing diets for dogs specific nutritional needs.

Parvovirus Infection Treatment
Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that attacks the white blood cells and gastrointestinal tract of puppies, dogs, and wild carnivores (including cats). Parvovirus is very resistant to heat, cold, humidity, and drying, and can survive in the environment for long periods of time ( up to TWO YEARS! ).

Laser Surgery
Spaying and Neutering
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is strongly recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

Laboratory Services
Just as in human medicine, early detection and treatment can add years to your pet's life. Laboratory testing is the most sensitive means doctors have for early diagnosis of infection, blood disorders, diabetes, kidney and liver disease, thyroid function, hormonal problems and cancer. Lab testing is especially important before anesthetic procedures. Blood work helps detect conditions which could make anesthesia unsafe and aids in the selection of the best type of anesthesia for your pet. Our state of the art IDEXX equipment allows us to evaluate over 95% of our tests in-house. For emergencies and time critical cases, this ability is invaluable. In those cases where samples must be sent out, certified university and regional veterinary testing laboratories often return results within twenty-four hours.
X-Ray
Microchipping
Unlike an identification tag, or collar, microchips don't have the risk of coming off if your pet does get lost. Most animal shelters and animal control facilities scan for microchips when pets arrive. The "chip" is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected under the skin. In many cases, owners choose to have their pet microchipped during their spay or neuter.
