Henderson Hospital

Great Hospital. Clean, new and safe with excellent doctors and nurses. Dr. Patel had a great bedside manner and put me at ease before my abdominal surgery with the great Dr. Kim Nguyen.

This hospital was a very nice very clean very professional. All the staff were right there when you needed them. Everyone was very friendly and happy to do their jobs.

Everyone I came across during my stay was awesome. From cleaning staff to food services, physical therapist and nurses made the stay much more tolerable

I suffer from chronic pain due to issues with my Lumbar Spine;
There is 5 mm of anterolisthesis of L3 on L4 secondary to bilateral pars defects. 2 mm of retrolisthesis of L1 on L2.
Marrow signal is within normal limits. The conus is not low lying. Soft tissues are unremarkable. Endometrial fluid collection.
L1-2: Diffuse disc desiccation, retrolisthesis, mild facet hypertrophy.
L2-3: Posterior decompression, similar foraminal disc bulge with a left far lateral annular tear without neural foraminal narrowing or spinal stenosis. Moderate facet hypertrophy. Mild edema involving the left facet joint.
L3-4: Diffuse disc desiccation, moderate intervertebral disc space narrowing and degenerative endplate changes. Anterolisthesis, pseudobulge, 4 mm broad posterior disc bulge with a prominent right foraminal component and a right foraminal extrusion with annular tear which causes severe right neural foraminal narrowing with abutment of the exiting right L3 nerve root. There is multifactorial severe spinal stenosis.
L4-5: . Diffuse disc desiccation. Severe intervertebral disc space narrowing, advanced degenerative endplate changes. Mild endplate marrow edema. Posterior decompression. 4 mm left eccentric disc bulge with annular tear causes moderate bilateral neural foraminal abutment of the exiting bilateral L4 nerve roots. Small associated effusion
L5-S1: Posterior decompression, mild disc desiccation.
Sacroiliac degenerative changes greater on the left where there is a 10 mm geode suspected.
CONCLUSION:
Postoperative changes, malalignment and additional findings as described, correlate for exiting right L3 and descending L4 radiculopathy. Multifactorial severe spinal stenosis at L3-4.
From time to time I have a flare that my prescription will not help.

Dr. Watson and his team at Henderson Hospital were above and beyond excellent! They were so caring and I trust their expertise and professionalism completely. Thank you so much for taking good care of me during my surgery.

The best! I a 73 year old that has never had surgery or a major illness. The entire staff, from the young lady that signed me in to the delightful nurse in recovery I couldn't ask for better care. Each person took the time to explain everything they were doing and why i needed it. Others just popped in and introduced themselves. My surgeon has a medical student working with her and the student asked if it was okay with me if she could observe the surgery. My son and daughter were allowed to stay with me until I went to surgery. Great care by a caring team.

From start to finish the staff at Henderson hospital was amazing! The only complaint I could possibly have is the quality and accessibility of food. The preparation leaves a lot to be desired even in comparison to other hospitals. But the amount of time it takes for food to be delivered is unacceptable when someone needs to take a medication and they are waiting on food. But that is the only complaint the facility is spotless the staff are amazing everyone is polite and everything is comfortable.
