I ordered a game from Amazon . It was supposed to arrive on August 25, 2016. The tracking info said it arrived in St . Louis from Hazelwood and was out for delivery at 8:07 am. It's now past midnight as I type this . I got some BS excuse in an email notification saying that "Nobody was there to sign or the carrier was not comfortable to leave it unattended ". My mom was home the whole damn time! They claim there was a pink slip note.There wasn't ! Here I took a screen shot of the message I got.

Incompetent! I sent a letter to handicapped friend who was in danger of having her water turned by the city because she got behind on her bill. She didn't have the money to pay the bill so I sent her the money in cash, via priority mail. She should have gotten it on Monday (7-11-'16). Today is 7-15-'16the and she still doesn't have it. I had a similar problem with an ebay purchase. My package came from California, arrived at the Hazelwood post office, and then was shipped to Memphis Tennesse. I love in Overland Missouri. Hazelwood post office should be closed - period.

I've had a package sitting here for anfee days on 2 day priority shipping from Cali. Don't even get me started on trying to call up there. They don't answer this phones. And their automaited answering machine gives you an extension number that doesn't exist! I hate this place so much. I feel so sorry for the hazelwood residents, who rely on this crappy post office for their mail.

Bought a package from Ebay and it was to be shipped to Benld Illinois. The problem is that it was due to arrive April 11th and UPS innovations shows the package departed Kansas City on the 8th but Hazelwood has no record of it! It takes roughly 5 hours to make that trip

I had a large to medium package arrive there in hazelwood mo a les paul gutair fret.fingerboard and it shows. Departed. On April 4th at 1027 pm . And that's it ....I live less than 30 min from there in south roxana il ......and still no package no can help me and no see to contact me back . I will not be sending any thing threw the usps again,and nd09sxmnwjg8zf9@marketplace.amazon.com I receive item three of four times a week but lately the hazelwood location has ruined it for me . Hope the usps Is really proud of this "BLACK HOLE " AS ISMS CALLED BY MANY PPL! THANKS FOR.NOTNING HAZELWOOD!

Had a package come from California destined to my location in Mt. Olive, Illinois. It arrived in Hazelwood Missouri facility on the 24th. It has been sitting there for 3 business days. Tracking then told me it left there at 1:12 AM yesterday but there was an In-Transit Delayed showing. Hazelwood should be shut down.

The absolute worst! Package left toward Hazelwood on March 19th. Didn't show as arrived until the 24th. It's the 28th. I live an hour outside of STL. I could have walked there to get it and back. Postmaster said he had 4 people with the same problem in our little town of 2000 people just today with the Hazelwood facility. This is about the fifth time in the last year and a half that I've had this issue. They've outright lost packages before. Get your act together!

This is just Ridiculous! My package has been sitting in hazelwood MO for awhile now. I ordered a item from China last week and it arrived in the US on the 18th to have before Easter Sunday here In VA. Everytime I track the package it's still sitting in hazelwood MO. What is wrong with these ppl. Usually it's takes awhile when coming from overseas but it's right here in the US and I still can't get my package on time

When my "2 Day Priority" package was tracked to this facility, and then no further tracking updates, I thought the problem was maybe with *other* USPS locations along the route. But, now I'm not so sure. And as others have said, you can't speak to an actual person--- just "leave a message", and get no reply. Should I be surprised? Probably not. Anything that is operated and run by our government typically gives the same type of service. They don't have to worry about losing their jobs, so they don't have to worry about keeping the customer happy. :-( Here it is, the 17th of March, and still haven't received my package -- and the last tracking update was March 10 at 2:08 A.M. from Hazelwood, MO. Not a satisfied customer, for sure. They really need a "negative" star review option.

Here's what I see "Your item arrived at our HAZELWOOD, MO 63042 destination facility on March 10, 2016 at 10:01 pm."

My 2-day Package sitting there almost a week. I file a complaint- after waiting on hold for 36 minutes for assistance. Next day Hazelwood rep calls me- says my package never made it to Hazlewood,. He couldn't see the same tracking system I could see- says it does NOT state received in Hazelwood.



My third package to vanish into thin air this year. THIEVES or incompetent idiots- whatever the case may be. No one cares because no one is accountable. It's time to ABOLISH the USPS. Worthless through and through. Colossal waste of space.

I will never ever use usps mail again for anything other than regular mail. On March 2,2016 I paid for a package to be sent 2 day priority mail, well as of today 3/5/16 the package is showing still in the Hazelwood. REALLY! Please if you are considering or know anyone that is considering sending any mail or package next day, 2 days or priority mail DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE use UPS or FEDEX. This is horrible and no one if you are lucky enough to reach anyone can tell you anything there entire vocabulary consist of I don't know. NEVER AGAIN!

I order a lot of stuff online. Every time I see its gone to this post office I cringe. Just immediately plan to get your package a week late. There has never once been an instance where my package has arrived on time after entering this abyss. The only positive is that I haven't lost one yet. I order a lot of car parts so probably nobody wants to steal those.

I have been trying to track my package for days. Everyday for one whole week it has been tracked at this facility! Then I read all that other reviews! Disgusted! Stop stealing, losing and misplacing packages! I read reviews going all the way back to 2011! When is this problem gonna stop and something gets done about it! I have no idea how the government allows this place to stay open and operate the way it does. And I only gave it a one star rating cause I had to in order to post this!

first of all, my package is sitting in your facility for the past 6 days on a 2 day priority mail delivery. i paid $40 to have it shipped to me like this and i can't get a human on the phone. i have tried to get ahold of the customer service rep for your facility and it keeps making me leave a message???? did she die or something because i'm pretty sure me leaving my information for the past 3 days and my messages with my tracking information and still NO CALL BACK. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.

If I could give this crap sort facility negative stars I would in a heartbeat, the sorting is slow, packages are lost or stolen or damaged constantly according to other reviews. My package I ordered that was supposed to be here over a week ago is still "delayed" worthless post office, ship FedEx or UPS instead, at least they care about their customers.

After having a package check into this facility on the 23rd, I decided to research it. I saw a lot of negative reviews stating that packages sent here would be lost or stolen, and I became very worried. However, my package arrived today (the 27th) completely fine, without damage, and only a few days late (weather was mostly responsible for the delay). I felt the need to write this because with something like this, people will only respond to negativity. If the mail runs smoothly and on time, they don't think anything of it, because that's how it's supposed to work. But when something bad happens, like a package gets lost or something gets damaged, people immediately flock to leave negative reviews. So I just thought I would share some positivity.

This so-called sort facility is the worst. It's like the morgue for mail. I have a package that was received by this facility on January 14th, and as of today, January v25th, it's still there. This package was supposed to be delivered by the 18th. Someone needs to go in and fire everyone working here, and start over!

This is SO frustrating. This has happened to me THREE times now! I will ship something of moderate value in a 6X9 envelope and the recipient will get the envelope with NOTHING in it! Someone is unsealing the envelope, taking whatever they want, and then sending it on its way.



I'm willing to say sh*t happens, and give someone the benefit of the doubt once in awhile, but THREE times?! Something very corrupt and illegal is going on there.

Absolutely horrible. Bought something online to replace it for a friend (I had broke the original). Was shipped out on December 4th. It is now December 28th. Guess where it went missing? This facility. According to UPS, it was transferred to this facility on December 16th, meaning it has been sitting there for 2 weeks now! WTF!

They have a serious problem in Hazelwood. I work in a mailroom now for over 15 years in that time I have used all 3 carriers usps, fedex and ups. My advice to everyone is this: Dont ever send money or gift cards through the usps mail.



In fact I even discourage sending cards period. If you do you run the risk that some usps worker with shifty eyes and sticky hands might open it out of curiosity and take the contents.



There are way too many alternatives for gift giving these days. You can even email a gift card to someone. It shows up in their inbox in about 15 minutes. No letters to mail, no sticky finger usps workers, no hassles no headaches. lol



The same thing goes for paying bills. Almost all the bills can be paid online to avoid having to send out anything usps. Since I have started doing that I have had no issues with any bills getting (lost) in the mail. Plus I get immediate proof that the bill has been paid.



If you absolutely must mail something out to someone you are better off using Fedex. They are not that much more expensive than the post office and you have a better chance of getting your items delivered. Fedex employees have to account for every item via their scanning system. Their entire system is electronic based. Trust me I use fedex at work everyday and have for the last 15 years. Whenever I personally need to send important items. I use fedex.



The reality is that there are some very hardworking honest postal workers. But then there are some dishonest ones as well. I know of one Local postal worker who I would see everyday on my trip to drop off company mail. I thought was a nice guy. Always worked hard, never missing from work.



So I was shocked to hear that he had been fired for stealing money and other things from customers mail. He had worked for the post office for a very long time and was close to retirement. Sad but true story.
