David's Bridal

After reading these reviews, I had to give a little input. I feel that this store location has improved DRASTICALLY over the years. They must have hired new management for this location. My sales associate (Lauren) was kind and respectful. I booked an appointment and came in about 5-10 minutes early. There was a little wait while she finished up her last group, but the store was very busy that day (10% off weekend) so I understood. I was given an iPad to fill out a "dream dress" survey which asked about budget and style. Unfortunately, there weren't many dresses in my size (not ones that I was interested in anyway), but the associate had no problem pinning them in different places and walking me through what would be different if the dress were in my size. She didn't get frustrated even though I tried on 5 dresses and had to ask for three different undergarments because I couldn't remember what my bra size was 😅 She was very knowledgeable about what was in store and even picked a couple dresses in a style I liked that I had not seen (and in my budget!!) I picked my dream dress that day and everyone including the associate was teary eyed. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this store to others.

I came in a few weeks ago, absolutely sure of what I wanted and actually pretty scared due to some of the reviews of the location I had read. However, my consultant, along with the manager, were absolutely as nice and helpful as could be. I ended up buying my dream dress, not what I expected, but I am so happy with my experience. I had so many people in my entourage and my consultant had only been working there for a few weeks, but she handled everything in stride and was nice the entire time. I never felt rushed or pushed into any decisions and my consultant as well as the manager really helped me make my decision and feel great about it. I am so glad I came to this location and found my dream dress! I don't know what happened with the other people that have left reviews, but I had an amazing experience.

I am not a complainer by any means... My mother worked for David's Bridal in Jackson for a period of time until she moved further than she could drive at that time customer service was excellent, as a Retail Associate in another company I have to say this is by far the absolute worst experience I have had in a retail store I was prepared to spend an extreme amount of money but due to the lack in motivation thru the staff here I would much rather go somewhere that my money and business is appreciated!!! Very disappointed!!! They don't deserve a star any way I can do a half?

This location has really gone downhill. When I got my dress 2 years ago, the lady that helped me was polite and very accomadating. The lady that was assigned to help my sister last weekend? Rude and apparently not interested at all in making a sale. To begin with, we arrived on time for the appointment but we're told to wait while she finished up with another group. No big deal. 20 minutes later we're watching my sister try on dresses as the dB associate seemed to be getting more and more frustrated with my sister's indecisiveness. She even had the gall to turn my sister away from her wedding party in the middle of asking what they thought to say "what do YOU think?" She then told my sister that she'd have to hurry it up because she had another appointment coming in. We didn't even get the full hour we had been scheduled for! I will never again suggest to anyone to give this david's bridal a try. And i will warn everyone who insists on giving them a chance to avoid the sales associate named tamara. What was supposed to be a beautiful day was ruined by poor business skills and an inept personality. My sister and her wedding party will be taking our business to mimi's bridal in laurel.

I wish that I would have checked the reviews before going to this location!! I have to agree with everyone else and say that I WISH I COULD RATE THEM A ZERO!! Upon arriving in this horrible establishment, the ladies at the desk turn to another lady and "whispered" or so she thought, "GOOD LUCK WITH THIS!!" i thought i was hearing things but i was not and it went downhill from there. the consultant took me and din't ask what i like or my budget and just started to pull dresses! she wouldn't listen when i told her that I didn't like any of them. Then the manager came over and said, "DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU LIKE??!!" After about 45 min, they got frustrated and started pulling everything and by then I told them it was time for me to leave. I called them and they said "we would love it if you would come back" BULLCRAP!! I will never go back to that store, but i did go to the Jackson, ms store and IT WAS GREAT!! they made me feel like a bride and I found my dress and it was the first one that i put on!!

If I could give this David's Bridal location ZERO stars I would!!! I am not even the bride my best friend was. First off, the staff members were extremely unprofessional. When we first walked through the door it was a comment made "Good Luck with that"... What was that all about, and who wants to hear that when they walk in a shop. I understand, since it was a group, it may have been a challenge but we were not THAT group. My friend tried on three dresses at the most and was unhappy with both, so the manager comes over and says sternly with attitude "What type of dress are you looking for". I would understand the logic behind that if she tried on 5+ dresses. Then on top of that we hadn't even been at the store 30 Mins. All of the consultants seemed unenthused which was CRAZY! There was a different consultant asking about a price range that didn't even go looking for a dress, which made me even more upset than I was(Why did you ask as if you were about to help her). I finally got to a point where I told my friend she didn't have to make a decision if she was unhappy with what they had, I know they were just trying to make a SALE on a dress my friend already didn't like!!! I will NEVER EVER EVER recommend this location to ANYONE!!! HORRID HORRID HORRID!!!

I bought my wedding dress from this location. I found a $1,300.00 Oleg Cassini gown on clearance for $180.00. The salesperson who worked with me was very helpful and low pressure. I was very excited to find this dress for an awesome price. However, it was a size 4 and I wear a size 2. The seamstress told me that there was no way that she could alter the dress. The manager told me to take the dress to another local seamstress (which i did and had no problem) because their seamstress is lazy and just doesn't feel like working. My dress was slightly wrinkled from sitting in the bag for 3 months so i brought my gown back to this location to (PAY) to get it steamed 2 days before my wedding. I had called ahead of time to ask if they steam dresses and was told that they do. However, I was turned away at the door by the same seamstress because "they don't steam dresses that have been altered by other seamstresses." I was very upset. I do not recommend this store other than to check their clearance rack! You might find a deal.

ALL OF THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE! I WAS MISTREATED BECAUSE I PLACED MY DRESS ON LAYAWAY ONLY BECAUSE BOTH OF MY PARENTS LIVED SO FAR AWAY AND THEY WANTED TO PAY FOR THE DRESS. MY DRESS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CLEANED AND IT WAS FILTHY IT WAS BROKEN AND I DID NOT REALIZE IT UNTIL LATER. I FEEL THAT THE ASSOCIATE SAW THE TEAR BECAUSE SHE LACED ME IN MY DRESS BUT DID NOT CARE! I WOULDNT RATE THIS ANY STAR BUT I MUST TO HAVE THIS POST!

The manager is extremely rude. I suppose she expects all brides to be bridezilla but my sister and I gave her no reason to be so unkind. Other staff members even seemed confused by her behavior. For this reason alone I wish I could give less than one star. No exchanges/returns. Expensive alterations.

Horribly rude staff! Wouldn't go back if they gave the dress to me.
