        Aloha Islanders and Visitors! Excellent credentials and years of training with masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Flora graduated from the highly esteemed, world renown Graduate School, Five Branches University. She has taken many of the techniques she learned and adjusted them over time to obtain the highest results in resolving pain related issues. Largely, she focuses on joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and even old injuries of the bone that have healed improperly. She will treat anything that comes her way such as bone on bone joints, torn meniscus, rotator cuff tears to digestive and auto-immune diseases. She loves a good challenge but finds pain can often be resolved in the first session, treating the source of the problem after. Also she uses a number of different techniques such as a special Chinese massage (called Tuina), glass suction cupping massage, stationary glass cups, moxabustion heat therapy, Tuning forks, Trigger point, Reflexology and jade stone scraping to release old stagnation from muscles.         I visited Dakine Hands after four solid weeks of trying to heal my stubborn ankle sprain. I had tried everything, including physical therapy, rest, anti-inflammatory herbs, and massage. The day after my first acupuncture session with Flora, I experienced the most pain-free walking since my injury.

        Flora is a gifted healer and I attribute my healing to her skill. The overall experience was wonderful. I found the office to be very clean while my practitioner was extremely personal, professional, patient and present with my needs. I am still raving about my experience and would highly recommend this acupuncture clinic to anyone.

        This was my first experience with acupuncture. Flora was not only very welcoming and professional but made sure to have great communication through the entire service. I felt so relaxed, as if all my stress had been taken away by the end of the session. This was such an amazing new experience for me and I would recommend Dakine Hands Acupuncture to everyone I know who may be in some pain or have other issues etc. I had no idea this was such an effective treatment. I went in for an injury I obtained while hiking on my vacation here, the next day I received Floras treatment and have no more existing pain in my right leg. Beautiful experience!
