Micro Taxi

DEPLORABLE! Charged $20.00 for 1.7 mile trip. Extremely rude driver. Horrible manners and horrendous service.

The service is irredeemably bad. The cab driver (certificate 1214) was incredibly rude. He didn't bother to greet me when I got in, and when I got to my destination he suddenly told me it was cash only, so I had to ask him to take me to an ATM while the meter was still running! I asked him how could I tell it was cash only and he pointed me to this minuscule sign on the top right corner of a window. So I ended up paying twice of what it should've been, while he acted bothered like I wasted his time. Who runs this business? I bet they named it Micro Taxi so some people would confuse it with Metro Taxi, so don't be fooled!

Never ever use this taxi service unless you want to be ripped of, exploited and freely harassed by taxi drivers of this independent company. I was verbally harassed by the cab driver of Micro Taxi and he even tried to threaten me into giving him more money than I what I owed him on the meter because he said that he would not have serviced me had he known After I paid him what was due on the meter in cash, he refused to give me a receipt and pretended like I did not pay him, even as he held the $10 bill that I had just given him in his hand. Terrible customer service and just plain lack of human decency. I have never been treated in this capacity.



This taxi cab services New Haven as well as Hamden and I would stay away from this cab driver and company. If you see this taxi at the NH train station where there is normally a line of cars that wait to pick up passengers, refuse service from this company and take the next taxi company in line. You will be much better off and much safer too.
