Hoffman's Quality Meats

In November 2016 my sister took a beef cow into Hoffmans to be slaughtered, butchered and packaged. I bought half of this beef and my nephew bought the other. We were told it would be ready in two weeks. Within the next 3 to 4 weeks since I hadn't been contacted yet so I called to check on it. I never was able to talk to Gene, the one who they said handled it. Finally it was ready and I told her my husband will be there after work to pick it up. They told me where we should go to pick it up. When he got there, they knew nothing about it,not our name, nor my sister's name. They said to check back the next day. We finally did get some meat the next day. We noticed that most of the steaks had dark areas on them; some were almost completely dark. The hamburger has been grossly uneatable. It tastes like the meat had been thrown in a barrel for a long time. Out of the 6 pounds I fixed, 4 pounds have been completely uneatable. The steaks we asked to be vacuum packaged were only partially sealed- several being completely freezer burnt the day we got it! Altogether we ordered 89 1lb packs. What is edible is very greasy. This is not my sisters beef; I have been buying from her for 20 years and it's always been very lean.
I went to my sister and told her there was a problem. This is nothing like the meat I always get from her. She called Hoffmans and after a lot of frustration was able to get through to the owner. He told her it was utterly impossible for her to get anything but her own beef. He refused to consider any reimbursement saying it was her problem and not his. I tried some hamburger from my nephew's side of beef and it wasn't rotten like mine his was supposedly the other half of mine. How can 1/2 a beef be rotten and the other half be fine? I am extremely dissatisfied with Hoffman's customer service, both me and my sister. I am convinced the meat we were given, was not what my sister took to them to be butchered
