I GOT MY 11 YEAR OLD DOG GROOMED AND THEY BUTCHERED HER NAILS AND THEY WERE BLEEDING ALL OVER MY CAR WHEN I GOT MY DOG BACK. I KNOW A CLIPPED NAIL IS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL BUT THERE WERE 4 AND WHEN I SAID SOMETHING TO THE OWNER I WAS BRUSHED OFF AND HE ACTED LIKE IT WAS NOTHING. IT ALSO TOOK HIM AWHILE TO EMEGE FROM THE ROOM WITH MY DOG WHITCH IS UNUSUAL AND DID NOT SAY ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT HER BLEEDING NAILS. IF YOU COULD HAVE SEEN HER NAILS ALL BLOODY AND BUTCHERED UP ANYONE WHO IS A PET LOVER WOULD HAVE BEEN OUTRAGED. HE THEN CURSED MY UCLE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND WAS EXTREMLY RUDE AND WANTED MY UNCLE TO SHUT UP SO THE OTHER CUSTOMERS WOULD NOT HEAR AND SAID I WAS LYING THAT MY DOG WAS NOT BLEEDING. I WOULD RECOMEND YOU BRING YOUR DOG TO SOMEONE WHO IS NOT A SHEISTY LIAR.

needs a negative score. This plcae is under investigation as of yesterday 2/16/16 for inhumane treatment to the pets and unsanitary conditions and dangerous conditions. Stay Away!!!

I would just like to say to the one that thinks she knows something about this shop that she needs to grow up! Its not our fault you couldnt do your job and got fired. As far as anything else you claim to know, you wasn't here long enough to know anything. This shop is nothing like it was years ago, it is ran and owned by someone else. It took sometime to find the right people but I truly and honestly think we did. We are a family, we all care and take our time with the pets, accidents do happen but a dog gets cut very rarely and the owner is called right away. We I have so many customers that love us and keep bringing their pets back and also new ones that come and continue to come back. we get Christmas cards, birthday cards, thank you cards & much more from our customers they love us and we love them. the looks of the place could be improved but that has nothing to do with our work, it just needs a makeover. So to anyone that reads all these reviews don't judge a book by its cover, we truly are all excellent groomers here! have a great day! :)

I should have known this place was trash when I walked in. It reeks of smoke and is dark and dingy. Doesn't seem clean. My grandmothers dog came home and was clipped way too close to the skin and was patchy. Some areas had little to no hair and the dog seems to be disturbed and irritated by the bare spots. Don't recommend.

The place is disgusting. The groomers smoke in the building while they are working on the animals, it is dirty and stinks, they do not bathe the dogs in actual dog shampoo. They use diluted gain dish washing liquid. If a dog gets cut if it is in the arm pits or somewhere not to noticeable they use super glue to "fix" it and do not tell the owner. The dogs are dried all together in one cage with a huge fan. The electrical outlets are a mess and very dangerous. I was even told they have had dogs die there, come up pregnant and one little dog actually lost its eye because of some kind of problem with the cages. Everyone please, before you bring your sweet babies here, ask for a tour of the facility. It may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. I will never make the mistake of bringing my baby back there again. I learned a very hard lesson. Be warned, this place is horrible

HOLLI LEFT FROM HERE. SHE WORKS AT FURRY TAILS PET SPA ON THE CORNER OF BARATARIA BLVD. AND PRITCHARD/ WOOD FOREST BLVD. GO SEE HER OVER THERE TO GET YOUR DOGS OR CATS GROOMED, OR EVEN BOARDED. THEY HAVE CHEAP PRICES EXCELLENT SERVICE. OH, THEY ALSO CARE FOR AND ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS AND THEIR PETS!!!!!

I have used Fancy Pups for a while & was satisfied but this last time was the best! I found out my groomer was Holly & will use her from now on, she's the greatest!

This place was disgusting. My husband dropped off our dogs, and I picked them up. I could not believe he left them there!! Luckily, all we did was board them there (after reading the other review). The dogs were physically fine, but they stank to high heaven! I take a towel to put in their kennel so they have something that smells like home, and when he gave it back to me, it was wet with urine. On top of that, he shoved it into my body...so, I had no choice but to grab it wherever I could! This place is nasty!! We won't be taking our dogs there again! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone...even if they only had a turtle to board!! ;)
