Original Review:

I love Mexican food with no question. When I first moved to Greensboro, I used to go to Mexico on Elm almost weekly, sometimes a few times a week. Now, I go infrequently and here is why.



I find MUCH better tasting Mexican food and overall experience at La Hacienda in Greensboro. The frozen Margs are very tasty though at Mexico. I will also say, they manage to keep a good restaurant rating which is a plus whenever I do eat there.



There has been a number of hands changed by Mexico on Elm it seems, and different employees over the past few years. When I began going nearly 6 years ago, Sal ran this location with another young Hispanic "techie" guy. Then, I saw different faces and more different faces, different managers and now, I honestly don't know who owns or manages it. It's not the same place as it was when Sal was there though there were times when Sal was very nice and chatty with visitors, other times withdrawn and only speaking when necessary. I'm not sure what happened, but because of what happened, I can only give this spot 2 stars.
