Fatz

We went to Greensboro to take our grandson to visit the Natural Science Center of Greensboro and of course, to eat at Fatz. This is not the first time eating at Fatz on Reginal Rd. Our server, Whitney ,was very attentive to our needs and friendly. She brought the food while it was hot and made sure we had everything we needed. The Callibash chicken was delicious, so were the ribs and shrimp. Thanks for giving us the pleasure to have dined at your restaurant.

We just love this restaurant!!!!! The food is awesome. The chicken is to die for. Service was wonderful. This place has it all. We were a party of four and everyone was happy. We had chicken and delicious ribs for $9.99. Can't say enough about this restaurant!!!! Virginia Hall

My, what a service! ...It Matters when you have 5 company from a difference area and from out of state...and it matters when you have experienced a wonderful and friendly service from a resturant! It matters when Bobby the Asst. Manager comes out to greet you and your guest -- and ask if you he can bring you something from the menu while waiting. It matters when several servers and especially to Tina, who comes around/ drops by, to make sure you and your 5 guess from out of town are doing fine. Absolutely fantastic. Fast, friendly service, great atmosphere, a little slow getting the bills together for large tables (corrected by asking for it early).

The two of us ate at Fatz on Saturday night. The atmosphere is similar to Ruby Tuesday's - I must say the wait staff was excellent - very attentive and eager to please. They truly went out of their way to be nice. A major plus is that it is a smoke free establishment. The main negative is . . . they don't call it "Fatz" for nothing. It is very difficult to find anything on the menu that is not fried or a high fat content - even the bread is deep fried (reminded me of doughnuts without the sugar)! Their menu states they will accommodate special diets but even the salads have cheese and bacon as ingredients. If you like fried foods and lots of cheese (big on the cheese grits) you'll be in heaven. Just be prepared for some extra time in the gym.
