Bayside Seafood Family Restaurant

The service at this restaurant was poor at best. The restaurant was not busy but it took forever for my food to come. When the food came out it was not even hot. The cheese did not melt on my baked potato. The seafood was over cooked and tough. We discussed our concerns and issues with the staff. Instead of an apology for the bad service and low quality food, the manager decided to argue with us about our experience. There was no apology, no impathy. The manager even put her finger in our face! I would not even call this place a restaurant. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

I drive several miles to eat at Bayside and it is well worth the trip. Great taste, big portions and friendly staff. I have no complaints, I'd encourage you try it and you will go back for more. ;-)

This place has great food for a good price, the selection is big and the staff is always friendly.and I don't understand why some are saying there are hidden fees, its all right in english in the menu.

I had read this review yesterday it just didn't seem like it was true cause the girls at work were telling me how friendly the waitress were to them when they came in and how big the plate of food was so i today i thought since i was free of no works i would take my kids to eat there. When i walked in and sat down and was looking at the menu i saw the Togo price it says 35¢ and other restaurants do Togo prices as well the service was good we didn't have to wait on them it was the opposite they waited on me i got the seafood platter and it was so big i had to take a Togo box the shrimp and devil crab and white fish the fish didn't taste like it had been seating out for a while

Bayside is one of the greatest restaurant I've gone to I love the service and the food is delicious and about this take out charge it is plainly written in the menus its not much I've been to restaurants where I had to pay a dollar for one small take out dish I have told many friends of this restaurant and they also agree it is one of the best restaurants the have ever been to

I would like to tell everyone this restaurant (Bayside Seafood Family Restaurant 3512 E Wendover Ave 27405) the service is not good. They are charging their customers hidden fees. I found this out and told a family member who also eat there and they also found out about being charged for placing a takeout order. I did not know until I order something small and knew taxes should not be that much. I asked the cashier why my total was so much and she said they charge for takeout orders. So unless you know how much you bill should be and you don't know the taxes you will never know because they don't give you a receipt with a print out of what you’re being charged just the total amount. I will never go back to eat in that restaurant again. I have had to seat on several occasions for an hour before my food was ready and they also got my order wrong after seating there for an hour and they gave me a slice of pie. WOW!!! My cousin who works at Lorillard said she would be spreading that information to all the people who works with her because they don't know and they eat there a lot and she just found this out herself personally. I hope that Bayside Seafood Family Restaurant reads this so they will know YOU CAN'T CHARGE PEOPLE FEE'S WITH OUT TELLING THEM. YOU NEED TO POST IT OR PUT THAT ON YOUR MENU SO WE WILL KNOW AND CAN DECIDE IF WE WANT TO PAY EXTRA FOR IT... I AM GOING TO REPORT THIS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREU. I think this is bad business practice and I see it as stealing.

i just found out that this restaurant charges a fee for take out orders. there is no sign showing this uf you don't notice you're being chargedmore for tax on your bill than you should you will never know. i found out when I bought fries and noticed my bill was more than it should be. I also had a family member go today and she asked and was told this is true but were not posting it. I not going back and I will tell everyone I can. Additional fees should always be posted a allowing the customer to decided if they want to pay. I feel that's stealing no matter the amount.
