Almost Home Boarding & Grooming is the Best Place if you are looking for a Loving, Caring, group of people to care for your pet. It was VERY hard for me to leave my dog with anyone, & this place made me feel right at home and took very good care of my dog. Thanks to you all...and thanks for the Web Cam option, it was GREAT

I would not recommend this boarding facility to anyone. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon to take a tour and was taken aback at the way the lady at the receptionist counter treated me. She was rather rude and did not seemed concerned about my dog or I whatsoever. Then a kennel assistant came up and took me on a tour of the facility. As we were walking through the larger run areas up front I noticed that a dog had an accident in its run and mentioned it to the kennel attendant. She seemed rather unconcerned about the situation. When we continued on the tour I was escorted to the daycare area. There was only one dog in the room and it was left unattended. I questioned the assistant about it and she said sometimes the kennel attendants have to help other attendants with dogs and if there is only one dog in daycare it is okay to leave for a minute. However prior to saying that she had said that no dogs are left unattended in daycare. After taking the tour I left the place with a very uneasy feeling and have since boarded my dog elsewhere.

We take our 2 Yorkies & Golden Retriever on a monthly basis to Almost Home and our dogs are always groomed exactly the way we ask. The facility is always spotless and doesn't have pet odors. Our dogs are never stressed when we pick them up. We would recommend Almost Home Boarding & Grooming to anyone who wants their pets to be cared for while they're away.

Our family has used Almost Home for both boarding and grooming. We often travel with our dog, but when we can't she stays at Almost Home and is always happy when we pick her up. The staff is great there! The most recent occasion to use them was when our dog got out at home the day before Thanksgiving and rolled in something that was none too pleasant! We called and the groomers had gone for the day, but one of the staff volunteered to bathe, dry and brush out our dog if we could just get her there within the hour. Crisis averted! The boarding staff are always pleasant and professional. Our dog gets a lot more exercise than we hear about other facilities. The place is always clean and the staff seem to really care about the "guests" they have.



The drive out to Almost Home is well worth it to be sure that your dog is well taken care of!!
