Family Dentistry of Lake Worth

First of all, this review is based on my own experience working for lake worth family desnistry, the practice is worked by a different doctor each month because they eventually notice how bad managed this place is, how the manager hides from doctors. This place is filthy and they make the staff clean because they are so cheap they don't even have a cleaning company to clean. They fire employee through a text message or they have others do their dirty work, if you are a patient and have an HMO OR DHMO insurance they will treat you like crap and they won't even render services requested by the patient and or the doctor will be notify and they will reschedule you because they don't want to not get pay what PPO pay. I can go on and on for days. This place is a joke and the worst place to go to, please save they headache and go else where before you do any work and end up noticing how bad this place is and if you have services render and want to dispute the payment it is not possible!

It's unfortunate that more people do not take the time to post positive things. It's only the few that are unhappy that seem to have the free time.

I'm glad I went. Really glad! I came in for an advertised cleaning and ended up doing two crowns. The doctor explained everything and made it clear why I have the problem I have. My previous dentist never took the time. This is my new dentist.

this is the biggest ripoff bar none i went to make a denture .b they insisted payment up front i paid. their so called Dr Dr Marques should be flipping burgers though i seriously doubt he is capable of that either . it took months for them to complete this denture they made appointments only to find that this incompetent was in Brazil . they sent me to their lab to see if they could make something of this abortion. the lab is not allowed by law to make ,fix or repair anything without a Drs prescription . Audrey the office manager then told me to come back and they would redo this mess no charge i agreed and while i was in the chair she asked me for money what a scammer she is.

i filed with the BBB . the office never ever spoke to them . family dentistry refused to give me my file another violation of the law.

save your money go elsewhere this is the biggest ripoff

they deserve a minus 10 sadly i have to give them a 1 star

THESE PEOPLE WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH A SMILE. DON'T GO. The service might be "gentle," but if you don't want to take out a new mortgage on your house to pay for it, I suggest you don't visit these swindlers.



I'd heard good things, so I came. I said I was there for a regular cleaning. They examined my teeth by naked eye and by X-rays and all looked well: no cavities or decay. After all, I floss daily, eat healthy, and always brush my teeth. But when they found out I hadn't done a cleaning in two years, they suddenly claimed that I needed a deep cleaning. I questioned them, but they insisted. Not knowing better, and trusting their professionalism, I assented.



For TWENTY MINUTES they were in my mouth. Deep cleanings are supposed to take close to an hour, to remove years of awful plaque buildup. I am NINETEEN. Had I known better, I would have realized that because of my youth and the healthy state of my mouth, I DIDN'T EVEN NEED ONE. A regular cleaning would have been enough; if they only needed 20 minutes to do 4 quadrants, then where was the need for a deep cleaning? But they capitalized on my naivete to persuade me into buying a service that I didn't need.



And then - they had the raw nerve to charge a total price, submitted to the insurance company, of ONE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS, with a patient responsibility $559 - for 20 minutes of A SERVICE I MEDICALLY DID NOT NEED. (Keep in mind that they were trying to charge an immediate copay $190, but lowered the price to $150 when my mom refused to pay it.) The maximum that the insurance company will pay is $1500 per year, so these people were trying to take MetLife for a joyride in one go, for what should have been a simple routine cleaning! MetLife is refusing to pay because they KNOW I didn't need it. Their hygienists are also independently contracted - which helps explain why the office tries to turn a profit by ripping people off. Lake Worth "Family" Dentistry will never see my face or money again.



You're supposed to be able to trust your dentist. Since we can't possibly know everything about our health, we need doctors and trust them to give us honest recommendations for our own betterment. But these people want nothing more than to CHEAT YOU for a quick buck. They probably think that because their clientele is largely MINORITY and WORKING CLASS, that they can offer some gentle services and kind words at the registration desk to dupe people like me into spending hundreds of dollars they shouldn't have to. Well, never again.



I'll admit that the hygienist did a great job and is a wonderful young gentleman, from Egypt. If you're reading this: great job, even if it was for a service I didn't need. But if DR. STEIN and his cronies are reading this, then you're lucky you were able to con me while I was so young, because with five more years of wisdom and a law degree, I'd have this excuse of an office tied up in so much tort litigation you'd lose all your teeth to old age before you finished paying punitive damages. I am so disgusted that despite my inclination to award a point for the hygienist's service, I must decline and implore any person with sense NEVER to come here.
