Animal Medical Center first opened its doors in 1986, by founder Dr. Jerry Weil. Since then we have been providing top notch professional veterinary service to Great Bend and surrounding areas. Today, AMC has grown into a regional, progressive 3 doctor, mixed animal practice known throughout the area for our commitment to excellence in service and quality veterinary care. We are a full service veterinary center offering small animal services that include: medicine, laser surgery, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital x-ray, dentistry, in-house lab, chiropractics, boarding, and grooming. Our equine services include: chiropractics, power medicine, surgery, lameness evaluation, reproduction, dentistry, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and endoscopy. Our bovine services include: in-house working facility, databases, reproductive feedlot, stocker and cow/calf consulting services, benchmark services, heifer development, complete bull evaluations, medicine, and surgery. Our Mission:To provide the highest quality veterinary service possible through quality examinations, advanced and accurate diagnostics, progressive medicine and surgery with compassionate care in a clean and very friendly environment.

I love this place and so do my fur babies. Dr. Mike and Dr. Jackie are compassionate and caring. They both explain the situation and offer options for a care plan. My dogs have boarded with them and they actually want to stay 😌 They always look and smell good when we pick them up. I would recommend Animal Care Hospital to anyone looking for a vet.

Doctor Jackie always gives my dogs the best care! She is very kind and compassionate. Felicia, who grooms, always does an amazing job both of my dogs are so soft and smell good when I bring them home. The atmosphere at animal care medical center is so relaxed the whole staff is very welcoming to both my pets and me!

We always get GREAT service and our fur babies are happy when we pull up for drop off. We never have to worry when they are in their GREAT care. We drive 30 minutes from another town, because we are ALWAYS happy with the compassion, quality of care, customer service, and reasonable prices!
