This place sucks. Had to hunt down a wheelchair and it was broken. Some of the staff are there just for a paycheck with sorry attitudes and thier pics on the website are NOT what the rooms look like. Very understaffed and it shows in the care the patient receives. Does not even deserve a star.

This is the worst place ever this place is nasty when we bought my sister here from knee surgery the toilet had blood on it and the floor looked like pee all over the floor around it the shower was not clean either all the floors had dirty drop marks all over them this is the nastiest place I have ever seen to be a rehab center all around the edge of the walls was nasty there were no towels or wash rags. The staff acts like they could care less my sister called for her meds and she finally got them an hour after she was supposed to have them it was the same with going to the bathroom this is truly a terrible place

I found Willow Creek to be a very calm and kind place. I arrived on a Monday morning to visit my friend who is only 40, she's not able to communicate at all, on a feeding tube with limited movement. While I visited, 2 nurses came in to take care of her, there were others walking and happy to help when I mentioned it was warm in her room (it was a day where it was 40 one day and 70 the next - if you know NC in the fall, you know what I'm talking about!). The girls at the desk where students and super friendly. The receptionst was kind and helpful. The bathroom was clean, the room was clean. There seemed to be a lot of folks with a lot to do, but isn't that how anyone's job is? I'm thankful for all these folks doing a very hard job.

this place is the worst place to ever put anyone!!!!From miss batts to her boss to her bosses boss they all suck!!!!!!They have the worst attitude problems that I've ever seen!!!!My dad was there for 1hr and asked several times for something to drink? When i got there 45mins afterwards i had to go to nursing station to ask for something for my dad to drink and the girl said he has water in his room?I said come show me?She walked in and said lord I'm so sorry I will go get him some water and she did very nice young girl!!!! I felt sorry for her to have to work there...They told my dad he would have his own room and that was a lie!!!!He was sharing a room with another man that had tv remote and had tv load because he couldn't hear good!!!! i asked him to turn it down and he said no the remote was his and my dad would have to watch what he was watching.Hell they had dad in a corner where the tv couldn't even be seen so it didn't matter. But the bad part is the BAD ATTITUDE they could had careless if the clients were hot or cold or if they had ate or drink......I wouldn't let my bulldog stay at that place much less my mom or dad!!!!!!! Please take my word for this and all the other reviews...DONT LET ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT GO TO WILLOW CREEK FOR NURSING OR REHAD.... What is really sad is this is supposed to be the better of the two centers in Goldsboro. Some of the people who work here have major attitude problems, from the underpaid orderlies to the social worker. It's shocking. We walked up to the nursing station one day, where one person was sitting. She pursed her lips, shook her head and pointed. In other words, she wasn't helping anyone, but didn't even have the courtesy to say so. The social worker: After my grandfather went from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. the next day without one person checking in -- which meant he was on his back the entire time -- we asked the social worker what we could expect in terms of daily care. She says she has no idea, we'll have to look at his "plan of care" on the back of his closet door. When we asked where else it might be, she snaps our head off: "I TOLD YOU where it was." No, it wasn't. But she wouldn't be persuaded. So she jumps up, pushes into his room during physical therapy, and lo and behold, guess what? It wasn't there.

I am sure this is incredibly stressful work. And some people have been so kind, and you know even when you are waiting for a long time for something, they still have the best of intentions. But some people need to find another job, where they aren't entrusted with the care of human beings -- or anything living for that matter. I'm completely disgusted.

Avoid this place! My mother-i...

Avoid this place! My mother-in-law was bed bound following knee surgery, never receiving a complete bed bath, or having her hair washed for the entire time she was there (from July until October.) Calls were routinely handled with someone poking her head in the door, asking what was wrong and then saying "I'll go get someone (to take care of it?!?)" After that, she'd disappear for an hour or so, leaving my mama to contend with her soiled bed, pain, or other issue, until she'd hit the call bell again and the search for help would start anew. It would take up to an hour for the problem to be addressed. She was denied liquids to the point she developed a horrible urinary tract infection with dehydation and had to be hospitalized. The hospital recognized the neglect right away, and set about stabilizing her. Because she has cancer and is in nearly intractable pain, we were blessed and happy to move her into hospice at Kitty Askins. The care has been day and night, heaven and hell, completely opposite, but we would'e done anything to keep her from returning to Willow Creek. They do have a few sweet angels on their staff, but they're outnumbered by the incompetent and uncaring ones who hand out minimal care with heavy doses of disrespect and rancor. If you must put a loved one in Willow Creek, for their sake, don't leave them alone for long periods of time. There's no excuse for this degradation and lack of plain humanity.
