All jo-Ann's are busy and this one is no accept him. Good place for fabric, craft supplies, yarn/sewing, etc. coupons in mail and by email.

In many respects I love this store, and in others I dread going to it, depending what my needs are. If I am going for fabric it is a bit of a chore as the people cutting fabric really irritate me. There are so many times where people are waiting around for help, and the people behind the counter, don't acknowledge you, but continue to wind up a bolt of fabric(s), or leave to tidy up somewhere, which they could certainly do at a later time and instead take care of their customers. So for me it is a love/hate relationship with Joanns

This is a huge, Jo-Ann super store, but prices are high. Sign up for their mailing list and get 50% coupons emailed or texted to you. You can also look look for online deals. Per Dana T., downtown is definitely the place to go for more selection and better prices. But if you don't want to brave the traffic, this is an alternative if you're willing to hunt for deals.

Prices are marked up, make sure you look for 50% coupons on their website for a decent deal. They have most basic goods for sewing, I usually head to downtown LA for my supplies.

Called them this Saturday morning for some inquiries about a wooden craft box. When they checked it it was already out but says otherwise in their website. As I was still talking, store clerk just hang-up.
