Dental Examination
We reserve about 45 minutes for your initial visit. During this time, your dentist will perform a comprehensive exam, and while he or she is reviewing your dental health, our hygienist may clean your teeth. Of course, this visit will be catered to your unique needs, and patients requiring deep cleanings typically benefit from a separate appointment.

As part of his quest to provide state-of-the-art dental care, Dr. Huang maintains membership with the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Greater Catonsville Dental Study Club, and the Greater Baltimore Medical Center OMFS Study Club. He is also holds a faculty position at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital Department of Dentistry. His most recent focus includes adult and pediatric restorative dentistry, crown and bridgework, removable dentures, implant-retained dentures, oral surgery, endodontics, implant restorations, conservative TMJ treatment, and oral pathology and oral cancer screenings.

As your child grows, he or she will need regular checkups and hygiene visits to ensure optimal oral health. Our team will also teach oral homecare techniques to both the child and the parent or guardian, so that they may learn how to effectively brush and floss, with your help at first, then on his or her own. Our pediatric dentist may recommend dental sealants or fluoride supplements. Sealants are thin, clear coatings that protect hard-to-clean back teeth from the sugars that cause tooth decay. Fluoride attracts other minerals to strengthen tooth enamel and ward off cavities. Because most bottled water does not contain fluoride, your child may be deficient in this essential mineral. Bridges

Dentures
A partial denture, commonly referred to as simply a partial, consists of multiple teeth on a gum colored base.
