Bus pulled to right, yellow lights were flashing, no red lights or stop sign, I was on the left of the bus so I did not stop but was prepared to stop per dmv, as soon as the stop sign came up I was close to the front of the bus but still further enough behind to stop in time, however a young man appeared in front of my van seconds later, it's no way he could have exited bus and reached the area where he was steps away from the front of my van in the time the red stop sign came up. The young man was very upset and snapped a picture of my license plates. I am not sure if he worked on school bus (did not wear the reflective vase) or if he was taking advantage of crossing because the bus was about to discharge, However NO children came across the street at that stop on Seneca street about 3:46pm. Was only able to get a phone number off back of bus, thought it read 639-7911 but after searching on web found number to be 689-7911, but both are none working numbers, Bus company need to follow rules. No one should be discharged from bus until the bus has completely stopped and has put up the stop sign. My apologies if this person whom took the picture of license was not an employee of the company, I have also left a message with complaint department 897-5702. I wish to document the true details to protect myself from being issued a ticket. Will update rating if my conversation with complaint department proves it was a bystander and not an employee.
