Fiesta Margarita Mexican Restaurant

Definitely, the best Mexican restaurant in Gastonia. I have been visiting this place since the restaurant opened and continue to frequent it. You'll find the same "Tex-Mex" dishes that most of us are already accustomed. You will also find many authentic Mexican dishes. I recommend the Chiles Rellenos en Crema, poblano chilies stuffed with shredded chicken and served in a sour cream sauce. Also, if you really like guacamole, this is the place to get it. Portions are all large and the chips and dip are "bottomless." Unfortunately, I will have to agree that the service is inconsistent. Most of the time it is great, but I have had occasional, poor service.

THIS is a horrible Mexican restaurant (used to be an Arby's). Food overpriced. Small portions. No refills on chips and salsa. Service was almost non-existant. Our food order was completely wrong. These authenic places often get it wrong and that's ok because authenic Mexican is all interchangeable anyway. But in this case we had to ask for...lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole, drinks, the chille relleno...all things that we ordered. The waiter didn't believe me and and only after comparing the menu did he change or bring the food. He forgot almost everything. I guess he was too busy sitting at the table next to us, with his back to us watching spanish TV. I could go on and on but it's enough for me to warn others --- just eat somewhere else. There is a perfectly good Mexican restaurant across the street. I bet this place will be gone in a year.
