The Flying Biscuit Cafe

Flying biscuit made the best biscuits in town for awhile, then, suddenly, couldn't make a decent biscuit to save their business. Other aspects of our visits didn't please us that much, either. Servers were unable to 'negotiate' any changes in the sides, the kitchen was slower than we felt it should be, the food was terrifically variable in quality.



We decided to pay a return visit, after several months, because they recently began offering coupons, and because we saw a review or two that looked encouraging.



Sure enough, the biscuits were perfect again. The French toast and pancakes were exceptional, and the eggs poached perfectly (for my wife). On a weekday morning, traffic was very slow, and one waitress seemed to be able to easily keep up.



I would suggest that if you had any sort of similar experience to ours, you try it again. The successful and competent ownership (Heavenly Ham and Moes, among others) wasn't going to let this new operation stay in the dumps for very long. Since I only visit for breakfast, I'll not give 5 stars, but everything breakfast was perfect this morning.
