Zorba's Mediterranean Grill

ZORBA'S....Fremont, CA

Today we went to Zorba's Restaurant in Fremont. We hadn't been eaten there in about a year. The time was 2:10 p.m. well after the lunch crowd had left. Zorba's had a few customers, but was not busy. To start with, we had both asked that no extra salt be added to our foods. However, our foods were so salty that we could only eat about 1/2 of it.



I have to say, it is pretty hard to mess up a toasted, roast beef sandwich (which had dried-out meat) and a toasted veggie roll-up (which had mushy veggies).



The worst part of the experience . . . While we tried to eat our foods, we had to look at sooooo many empty, untidy tables with dirty plates, glasses, and OLD, dried-out foods left by other customers. We even had to sit by the window because there were no clean booths for us to sit and eat our foods.



NOW, we understood why others customers had left so much food on their plates . . . We were really disappointed with our foods. We have never written such an unflattering review for any restaurant. We would not recommend Zorba's (in Fremont, CA) and we will not return in the future.



Again, we could not understand why the management team at Zorba's had left so many dirty tables to ruin the appetite of their customers.
